Well this is the end of this short fic. Tell me what you think of it
through C&C or flames. Go shead, or are you scared? {GRIN} *_*
Well this is my first fic with no "good guys." You may say that the
Youlem is the good guy, but he's not. It's just because it's old from
his point of view. I could make Emy look like a good guy if you let me,
or Asmor. Well maybe not Asmor. But each person was trying to do what he
thought was best for Almeir. Of course the idea of what's best for
Almeir varies with every person. *_*
This is 1/2 fanfic due to it's resemblance to tactics ogre. But it's
only a resemblance, the plots original. But it is a lot like tactics
ogres because of all the conspiracies. *_*
Oh yes and one more thing. I apologize for no gender balance. Sory
bout it.*_*
WARNING: There is no blood or murder in this chapter but there is death,
you have been warned.
.............................................................................................................................
The final part of
Beguile.
It was now five years after the defeat of the revolution front,
which occurred only a month after the attack on Elmor. The victory of
the two countries was most likely attributed to the alliance formed by
Wiren and Youlem.
And now it was time for the speech that would change the
continent.....
Me and Wiren walked onto the platform and looked at all the people
standing there. Some were from Remen, others Teln and others Armel. They
all came to hear what would most likely be the most important speech
ever made.
I looked at each one of them knowing this was going to be a great
day. Ever since we won the war every day was enjoyable. I smiled and
opened up the parchment, then rolled it up again. "Dear people of
Almeir, Remen and Teln. For centuries we have fought and despised each
other, trying to conquer the country. But now we come together, in great
fellowship, to become one. There will be no more Teln, Remen or Armel.
There will be no persecution due to culture or race. Me and Wiren will
rule the continent as the unified, Almeir republic."
And a great cheer came from the crowd as the all agreed that this
was the right thing to do. Everyone seemed happy and moved by this. And
so I continued our speech. "Me and Wiren will rule but before any action
can be but into movement it will have to be approved by a council of
thirteen. If it's not approved then the action will not go through, and
if it is, then the action will happen. An action being approved will
consist of a simple vote, that's why we choose an odd number." I handed
the parchment to Wiren and yelled out at the top of my voice. "Now enjoy
this new age of freedom!"............
Sainmer smiled as he slumped down in his seat. He didn't get his
kingdom back, but there was peace, that was what was most important. He
was now a member of the high council, and he had a job of reviewing this
idea given to me by Youlem. It's about a new fishing industry in Teln to
try and help feed the poor. He had no kingdom, but at least his job was
important........
Emy wiped the sweat of her forehead right after she finished
planting the rose. She had got a job planting roses in the royal garden
outside the Armel castle. She never told them her real name of course.
She went by the name of Mila Toye. And she had cut her hair really short
and thrown her sword into the river. She also acted and dressed like a
completely different person, and hoped for the best.
Even though the front had lost the war, their goal had still been
achieved. They had wanted a unified peaceful continent of Almeir. They
had gotten what they wanted, but not in the way they wanted it.........
And amongst all the celebrating and work no one noticed the body of
a man, sitting in a cell, holding the pictured of his dead wife. His
tears had smudged some of the portrait drawn by an artist, but Jeros
would no longer shed any more tears, because he was now with his wife.
The End
.............................................................................................................................
I really gotta work on formatting this fic right, sigh. Well
anyways, what did you think? Good, bad, mediocre. Tell me trough C&C.
*_*
This is the closest thing to a happy ending that you'll get from me.
It was pretty close, but no quite. *_*
Well I'm going to be posting another fic after a couple weeks. Right
now I'm ironing out my ideas, correcting any flaws. I'll just tell you
one thing about the fic, it's weird. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be one of
my fics. Hope you read it! *_*
