Thoughts as I read this.

All that junk at the start is irritating.

Nobody in the BGC universe would not know what a boomer is.

Leon would never try to arrest someone who just trashed six boomers.
He'd call it in and wait for backup. (Largo doesn't count. Although
Largo could beat six boomers, Leon never watched while he did it.)

The law Jake broke was not "property damage". It was being a rogue
boomer or boomeroid, which is a crime in itself.

Jake is a moron.

The author is way too fond of Jake.

This is an utterly stupid and pointless fight.

I don't like Jake.

Jake is a murderer.

If that guy thought that Jake was a "pathetic gaijin" why did he send 12
combat boomers after him, instead of one?

Given that Jake is obviously not human, what good would nerve gas have
done?

There is no way that nanobots could improve Jakes abilities to that
degree unless they had taken over so much of his bodily function that he
would legally be a boomeroid.

Jake is so full of himself that if you stuck a pin in him, he'd deflate.

I don't care about Jake's shopping trip.

Madigan isn't that stupid.

The author really likes Jake more than I can stand.

Anti-Twister? Jake is a mage and an Esper?

That's enough I think.
