Ranma hates mind control, how would he feel, if he finds
out, his fiancees are trying to remake his personality to
one they like better than his original?
Can you say end of engagement? Can you say Don't want to
ever see you again? Can you say I like cats better than I
like you four!?
If Kasumi can stay out of it ( hard as that is to picture )
she could be the winner here, or if she can persuade Akane
not to tinker with Ranma, but to teach, teach all the things
Genma didn't, like learning to enjoy learning in a school or
politeness, diplomacy, the forms of everyday life. By adding
to Ranma's skills, not trying to remake him into an image of
her ideal man who would have to love her but trying to be
both a friend, a fiancee and a mother, all at once. If
Kasumi has any reason to believe Ranma will get his original
memories back and tells Akane and Akane listens and behaves
appropriately, she could win his heart and have a more
civilized lover as well. Especially if he ages at an
accelerated rate, even if he doesn't, a sixteen year
difference has been overcome before. It would depend on how
much she loves HIM!

If violence is not solving your
problems you're just not using enough of it.
