But do you know the age mushroom episode? What about
Metroanime's Bet "Young At Heart" which has Ranma
getting stuck as a child, eventually losing his
memories? Of course, Akane isn't the mother in either
case...

     This kind of thing can lead to a darkfic really
easily, I think. How about a bit of modification;
Akane gets to play "Big Sister" in Ranma's childhood
by using Nanban Mirror? And finds out parenting is
nowhere near as easy as she thought... She might even
mess up, making Ranma a cranky, hateful teenager,
and THEN going back to her own timeline (growing back
to 16 years old) to appreciate him more? Reverse is
also possible; canon Ranma going back to when Mrs.
Tendo died, playing surrogate mother/big brother/
assistant instructor in Tendo Dojo? Gee, I WANT to
write this story! How I wish I could!
