Excuse me. How are they going to launch the EVA when it has a impenetrable
forcefield
surrounding it?
Eva's are still subject to gravity and inertia. Besides, the Eva is
standing on something that moves. If the floor moves, so does the Eva
Everyone whirled to face the strange teen.
"What do you mean by that?" Gendo asked, felling a bit unnerved
by this
boy.
Dema-fa smirked as he replied, "Very simple, Genny. You're at
war with
these beings. They're not going to just let you take pot shots at them
without fighting back. They might even be able to detect a hostile
force
approaching."
Gendo Ikari silently fumed at being called 'Genny', but the
advice that
Dema-fa had just gave was sound.
Ritsuko asked, "How did you know about the AT fields?"
"Is that what you call them," Dema-fa said. He shrugged and
answered
impudently, "I saw you guys dump that bomb on that first Angel that
attacked. It used a force field to repel most of the attacks. And
considering it was defeated by the purple robot, I made the logical
conclusion that your robots have force fields."
And so why is this punk kid a better tactician than Gendo or Misato?
He's not exactly a punk kid. He is Akira Fudo a.k.a. Devilman and he is
Gendo's age. Akria has been fighting Demons longer than Shinji has been
alive. Akira is also every incarnation of Blackjack as well. He does have
the experience.
Amon(The demon half of Devilman):Known as the beast of Hell. One of the
Fallen Angels. He's been around since the dawn of time.
"What happened to you, Genny? You used to be so full of cheer
and
helpfulness. Now, you treat your own son like dirt."
"What do you know of me?" Gendo demanded as he faced Dema-fa.
"That you used to be a good person."
Yeah right.
Actually, he was. Right up to the point where Yui disappeared.
Dema-fa turned and walked away, leaving Gendo momentarily
stumped. After a
few seconds, Gendo muttered under his breath. He was used to being in
control and didn't like the fact that Dema-fa wasn't under his control.
For
a moment he debated on sending any information about Dema-fa to Seele or
not. He came up with two very good reasons to do so. If Dema-fa was a
spy
from Seele, then sending in the information would convince Seele that he
was
still following their agenda. If he wasn't, then Seele would spend some
time and resources tracking down who Dema-fa really was and would allow
NERV
to not be as closely monitored. And if they were lucky, find out
something
that could be used to control Dema-fa.
We have two weapons! Stealth, surprise and our fanatical devotion to our
cause!
Er...three weapons!
<snicker>
positron apature was.
"aperture"
<shrug> that's what my spellchecker said.
