I'm glad to see that this series is starting up again. I haven't read
that many fics that combine Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi Muyo, but so far this is
the only one I've liked.
I didn't really care for this part as much as the others. I guess it's
because it has nothing to do with the original Tenchi Muyo storyline. The
other parts provided insights into the characters' actions (like Ryouko
crashing both spaceships) that were really fascinating. It provided depth
that was sorely lacking in the original.
I did, however, enjoy seeing more about the travels of Ukyou and
company. The character relations are taking interested turns. Was is
really necessary to give Ukyou a nannichuan curse though? That seemed too
obvious to me.
Akane's curse brings up a number of interesting possibilities that I
look forward to being explained. It also provided me with a little
satisfaction, stemming from the fact that I was able to guess where the
twins came from. It was kind of obvious if you saw the series, but I'll
take what I can get.
Nadoko's cursed form is actually Yosho's daughter reborn. I can
picture some soap opera scenes coming. "Yes, I am actually the long lost
daughter of you Grandfather, who is actually centuries old, but can either
look 25 or 65 depending on the day he's having."
I'm looking forward to more, but maybe you could add on a more detailed
synopsis of past events. I had to reread part 5 to get the significance of
Xian Pu and I completely forgot about Ryouga's police friend.
