or: Jusenko finally curses Akane

Perhaps it wasn't the sheer bliss that it was supposed to be. A
chorus of angels did not bless their marriage, and things did not go
prefectly forever more. In fact, it wasn't different at all. A scant
month after the marriage, Ranma still called her a tomboy, and she
still...gently corrected his ways when he ran his mouth too often. Their
daily lifestyle hadn't changed much (and their nightly lifestyle was no
one's business but their own). The only thing that changed was that Tendo
Akane was now Saotome Akane, and considering the example of the patriarch,
Akane didn't think much of her new family name.

No, that wasn't quite right. Ukyou had become a better friend,
and if the words between her and Shampoo weren't quite warm yet, at least
they were civil now. Who knew what lay in the future? Kodachi had left
Nerima in tears, and she hadn't been heard from since, so there had been
no more unvoluntary druggings. As an added bonus, Akane had more free time
on her hands. The kidnapers who abducted her for marriage almost always
let her go once they glanced at her hand and its ring. So, Akane may not
have been in perfect bliss, but she was very happy. And was soon to be
even happier, for it was growing dark. Soon, Ranma would return home, and
they could conduct their nightly lifestyle as they saw fit (which was
still no one's business but their own).

Was it her head swimming of recollections of the chaos that had
ended a month ago that betrayed her? Or her lack of practice? Either
way, as Akane entered their bedroom, she suddenly found her limbs bound by
a gymnastic ribbon. When she opened her mouth to cry out, a sock was
stuffed in her mouth, and then covered by another ribbon to muffle her
screams. Her assailant tied her to a bedpost, then roughly grabbed her by
the hair and forced her to look into eyes burning with fury.

"You stole him from me!" hissed Kodachi to a stunned Akane. "You
little witch! But it is I, and not you who will have the last laugh."
Kodachi's hand that was not holding onto an immobilized Akane's hair held
up a bucket. She began to shiver as she realized what this might mean.

"You see, as I left Nerima to forget my grief for my lost
Ranma-sama, I ventured into China. There are these springs there with
interesting properties. Did you know? And each one of the springs had a
story of a creature who drowned." Akane's terror grew, as she realized
that her worst fears had been confirmed. "The guide was thrilled that I
would visit. I was his first customer since the springs had recovered
from some flood, you know. He was eager to help me. And with the
knowledge he gave me, I knew how to extract my revenge. What other
fitting revenge on a witch than to use a magic curse?"

Anyone with a scrap of humanity would have paused at the sight of
Akane's tears, but Kodachi was too caught up in her revenge to notice.
"So, farewell, Saotome Akane!" With that, she cast the bucket at her
hated rival, and left the house in a hurry, laughing all the while.

Bound and wet, latest victum of the Akanenichuan was not amused.

C&C welcome!

The sardines weren't worth the trouble. A few more shots, then
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode. Ducking around a corner,
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of
my Anime supplier.

One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed. "Tell me."
I insisted. He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
"Last chance. Where can Ranma-Ranma find good fanfics?"
"Try Jason Liao." he whispered, before he slumped to the floor.
I heard the sounds of a door splintering as I left through the
window, one step ahead of Tendo Heavy Industries...
