 violence committed against children and relatively innocent creatures
 truly amuse you?

Lurker, what makes you think the writer is amused by the content of his 
story? Is that a neccessary prerequisite for fic writing? If so, Mike "IMBS" 
Loader, John "CoaEG" Biles, Sean "Complete Control" Gaffney, Lara "Needs no 
Examples" Bartram and a WHOOLLLLEEEEEEEE lot of other people have some 
SERIOUS mental problems.

Now, I don't want to get off on a rant here, but you are quite simply being 
unduly harsh to this fic AND it's author. Yes, it's a bad fic; character 
development is weak, the plot flows haphazardly, and C-Dogg or whoever REALLY 
needs to learn how to write a transistion.

I noticed, however, that you mentioned none of this, NOR did you give 
anything even remotly resembling constructive advice. In fact, this is the 
closest thing to an unprovoked flame I've ever seen from you, and it borders 
on a personal attack. 

Your position on Pokemon Darkfics is well known and documented, Lurker. Fine. 
Good for you. Nobody says you HAVE to approve of every possible fanfic genre 
out there, and if they did, they're idiots. However, you seem to have taken 
this disapproval one step furthur, espousing the belief that because YOU 
think it would be wrong to write something, NOBODY should write that thing. 
Yes, this is a revolting and disgusting fic. Ever stop to think that maybe 
the writer WANTED it that way? That maybe they're the sort of person who 
finds something worthwhile (though God only knows WHAT) in the "slasher" 
movie genre, and wanted to convey that through a fic? That instead of being 
some disgusting sicko who wrote this because he fantasizes about carving 
Officer Jenny into teeny-tiny bits, he's just another author trying to get by?

You're quite free to register your discontent; that's what the FFML is FOR, 
after all. And yes, there are times when harsh language is necessary when 
dealing with some obnoxious moron. 

This was not one of those times. How would YOU like it if someone replied to 
your Tenchi stories with "That was the most disgusting and revolting thing I 
have ever read. What possesed you to write this? Does the thought of an 
police officer receiving eternally scarring brain damage and suffering 
through several years of deceit, lies, and falsehoods truly amuse you?" 

Not a very nice way for someone to treat a concept that you obviously like. 
just because this guy writes stuff that revolts you doesn't make him a "bad" 
writer. And I use "bad" in the 'evil' sense, not "bad" in the 'writes poorly' 
sense, because THAT is a whole different issue. An issue, might I add, that 
we SHOULD be mentioning t this guy, not attacking his concepts out of hand.

Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
