You know I am surprised no one has written a Ataru breaks
his leg and Ranma gets drafted to replace him story. I can
see a story in which Ranma is engaged to Lum and Ukyou and
Shampoo, while Ataru has to deal with Shinobu and the other
girls from UY.  With both of them in the same town, then add
Happosai, while Genma and Soun try to get Ranma to move to
Nerima, while the MIB try to prevent it to keep Lum happy.

Well, IIRC, Tomobiki is an area within Nerima, so it wouldn't be much
of a stretch...

There've been UY/Ranma crossovers, obviously, but none along that line
that I know of, even though it does seem like a fairly obvious fusion
idea.  Why not go ahead and write it?  You'd need to do a bit more
thinking about the consequences of your set-up, but it's not a bad
idea.
