On the Geocities matter, folks:

The people have spoken, and they were PISSED.  Geocities has totally
rewritten the segment of their TOS that so offended everyone earlier
this month.

They retain the right to use material on Geocities pages in
advertisements and the like, but only so long as the material is
actually up--take it down, and full ownership immediately reverts to
you.  Basically, they need this just to be able to do things like
"featured pages" and whatnot.

This should NOT be taken as an endorsement of Geocities/Yahoo--it was a
boneheaded maneuver.  But if you're going to dislike them, do it for
reasons that are still valid. *G*
