Rather amusing, this was an easy read that went down quickly 
without bogging down on minor details or too much repetition 
of standard UY or EVA storylines.  The bit about Cherry 
scaring Happosai is almost enough by itself to want to read 
the next bit, just to find out what the deranged priest said.  
(The kanji that spell Cherry's name can also be translated as 
"deranged priest", if you didn't know that. O_-)

My only beef with this one is that we may not get to see how 
Shinji and Lum would interact (or at least, that's how it 
looks right now).  It would be interesting to see how Shinji 
would react to a devoted person like Lum, and maybe how he'd 
handle Shinobu.  (In my mind, I can see S&S holding hands....)

Oh, and one more minor gripe...try adding blank lines between 
paragraphs, it makes things easier to read.  <hopeful look>  
A good start, otherwise.
