Hi! This is my C&C on some recent songfics....


1. Savere Hotaru's "Hero", filked of off Smashmouth's "Allstar"
Rating: Very funny

This songfic excellently dealt with the first season of the NA anime. The 
altered words fit the scansion of the original lyrics perfectly. The altered 
scenes reinterpreted the words in a refreshing way.

BTW, does anyone have a copy of it? Hotaru lost hers and I want to use it as 
a theme song.

2. Shadra's "Cats 'n the Crystal", filked off of "Cats 'n the Cradle"
Rating: Very meaninful

While this songfic changed the scansion more then "Hero", the words fit into 
the notes... I know, I sang it while listening to the song. It was more 
introspective. Not only did it outline a plot, it seriosly dealt with 
Usagi's feelings.

3. Um, there were more songfics... but they were to songs I don't know, so 
they were harder to appreciate, sorry...

4. My "Tuxedo Kamen-sama", filked of off Madonna's "Beautiful Stranger"
Rating: Great! (but what do you expect from the author)

A serious sonfic that deals with Usagi and Rei's relationship with 
Mamoru/Tuxedo Kamen... well filked, and enjoyable if you know the song... 
I'll mail it to anyone who asks...




Seriously though, I would like to see more songfics. They are immmensely 
enjoyable. Sorry about the shameless bit of self promotion...
