Chapter 3: Blue Thunder's Wrath
===============================

Nabiki was crowded by a horde of students.

"Look! Someone's fighting Kunou!"

"He must have a death wish."

Nabiki frowned as Yuffie was sitting on the bench,sighing deeply
~Poor imouto-san,~ she thought. ~Having to put up with all that.~

Ranma leapt away from the first bokken strike,which cleaved through
a wall and shattered it into stone dust. Ranma flipped over Kunou
and landed behind him. "Listen,Kunou..." he said,leaping away as
the next strike ripped apart the trunk of a tree. "...there is
nothing..." Another flip as a hole was torn into the courtyard.
"...between me and..." Ranma tapped him on the shoulder and the
kendoist whirled around. "...Yuffie! I hate the girl!"

Yuffie frowned. ~Why does he hate me so?~

"Then you are a foul dog of dishonor," snarled Kunou. "I shall
smite thee down with my blade! SHI-NE!!!" He slashed at Ranma as
the martial artist leapt up and did a ninja flip,ready to smack
the jerk into Low Earth Orbit...just as the clouds opened up.

A black-and-white blur ripped through the courtyard,smashing Kunou down 
into the ground and spiriting Ranma away as the rain began. Yuffie let
out a sigh of relief and disappointment. She had wanted to beat up the
snob,but she was glad Genma-panda had showed up before the curse was
revealed. She went into the gym to find Ranma-chan there.

"Stupid fool," said Yuffie. "Why did you get involved?"

"Beh," said Ranma-chan,pouring the hot water that Genma-panda had so
kindly provided to her on herself. "I couldn't back away from a fight."

Yuffie then smiled. "Look at your neck,Ranma."

Ranma touched his neck and winced - he had a big bruise on it. "Funny,"
he said. "I thought he didn't touch me."

"Guess you were wrong," teased Yuffie. "Come on,let's go to class."

The teacher introduced Ranma. "This is Ranma Saotome,who has just
returned from China. However,that doesn't excuse his tardiness.
He will join Yuffie outside. Both of you,outside."

Ranma and Yuffie held up buckets of water as they stood outside. Yuffie
didn't mind - she had gotten used to being punished this way ever since
she had come to school. "I guess this is my fate," muttered Yuffie.

"Hey,it's not MY fault that our goddamn fathers forced us to get into
marriage," muttered Ranma. "By the way,why did those boys attack you?"

"Ah...ano..." said Yuffie,sweatdropping. "Long story. Suffice it to
say that I've been...acquiring stuff since I attended high school."

"So you admit that you are a common thief!" said Ranma,smirking.

"Hey,I only steal to support the dojo!" pouted Yuffie. "It's not my
fault that the only way we stay alive is from me and Nabiki doing
terrible things! But beware of sis,she's really evil."

"How evil?" asked Ranma in fear.

"Listen,and I'll tell you," said Yuffie in a whisper.

"That wicked man,Saotome,surprised me," said Kunou,rubbing his forehead.
On it was embedded the word 'bakayaro.' "Alas,he cannot spell! Everyone
knows that this is how you say the word." He spelt out 'bacayuro.'

"I think it's okay the way it is," said Nabiki.

"I hate thee,Nabiki," snarled Kunou.

"I'm glad," teased Nabiki. "Anyway,since Yuffie and Ranma are in a
pact of engagement,it wouldn't be right..."

"NANI!?" cried Kunou,standing. "I knew it! That foul sorcerer Saotome
is the one to blame for Yuffie's corruption! His blood will be MINE!"

"Kunou,outside," said the teacher.

"THAT bad?" asked Ranma in horror.

"Yep,she's bribed and extorted from the dawn of her birth," said Yuffie
with a sly smile. "She's a LOT worse than I am,Ranma-san."

"I don't get it," said Ranma. "Why would Kunou want to date you,if you
are such an evil woman and a klepto?"

"His stupid honor says that any woman can be cleansed," sighed Yuffie.
"He's trying to 'purify' me of my evil ways."

"SAOTOME!!!!"

The two turned around to see Kunou charging at them. At first,Yuffie
thought that the upperclassman had skipped class,but then spotted the
buckets in his hands and realized that he had been punished.

"Foul wizard of darkness!" hissed Kunou. "You dare to chain the fair
Yuffie Tendo to your body through engagement! I forbid this!!!"

"OH NO!" cried Yuffie in horror.

#BANG!!# All the windows to the classrooms flew open.

"You're engaged,Yuffie?!" said a girl.

"Oh wow!" said another girl. "I never thought that such a thief like
you would ever find love! Way to go!"

Yuffie groaned and covered her face.

"This isn't our doing!" snapped Ranma. "Our fathers..."

"Watch out!" cried Yuffie,pushing him away as the upperclassman splashed
them with the cold water. It hit Yuffie,soaking her good. "Run!"

Ranma ran off. "Coward,running like a dog!" shouted Kunou.

"I'm not running,just taking the fight to a better place," said Ranma.

"Fine,we will fight elsewhere," snarled Kunou as he chased Ranma. Soon,
a horde of students flocked behind the two runners.

A monitor came out of a room. "No running!" he shouted,but Ranma smashed
him into the floor,followed by Kunou. Yuffie dodged around him.

"Sorry!" she cried as the group chased the fighters.

"Oh sugoi!" cried a girl. "This is a fight of love,to see who will
win Yuffie's hand and cleanse her of evil!"

"You want a haircut,bitch?" snarled Yuffie.

Ranma dove out of a window as Kunou flew out behind him. Unfortunately,
Yuffie warned them of the danger too late. "You're on the third floor!"

The two gasped in horror as they saw how high up they were.

Then the two fell with a splash into the school pool,which was filled
to the brim with cool water. Ranma sighed as she realized how life
really sucked at times. The crowd was looking from the window.

"Are they okay?" asked a girl.

"Kunou's okay,but where's Ranma?" asked a boy.

Just then,a blur of something came up from under Kunou. Yuffie sighed in
relief as it was Ranma. Then she gasped as she saw Kunou groping her.

"Saotome..." he gulped. "I will...smite thee..."

Ranma choked in horror as Kunou was groping her. "AAAAAAH!" she cried.

"Oh my GOD!" cried Yuffie in horror. "The secret's out!"
