Chapter 1- Cold Water Catastrophe

don't cart me off for this. Ranma � and Co. are the property of the great

no rights to the characters what so ever. All events occurring in this story 
are purely fictitious. Any resemblance to actual events is purely 
coincidental. You may notice the similarity to the first chapter disclaimer, 
whichis because it is!

Things were rather quiet at the Tendo household. Quiet being that no one had 
decided to knock in the walls claiming to be their guest, Ranma Saotome, 
long lost fianc�', or come to kill that same guest, i.e. Ryoga. As a matter 
of fact, nothing unusual had happened in over a week.

As a wise man once said: All good things�

"C'mon, Pop, don'cha got anything better?" Ranma said as he dipped under a 
flurry of punches. Genma reached through Ranma's defenses and grabbed hold 
of his son's shirt. With a slight grunt he threw the young martial artist 
into the Tendo's pond. After several seconds of bubbles Ranma-chan jumped 
out. "You always fall back on that." She landed with a slight tap. Before 
the teacher could respond, Ranma landed a kick to his backside at super 
speeds. A rather large Panda emerged from the pond with a disgruntled gruff.

"I thought so." Ranma pivoted on her heel and went into the house.

*Whap!

//Did I say to stop?// Genma-Panda threw away the sign he'd just used to 
smack his son.

"Fine you wanna keep goin'?" Ranma-chan leapt at the huge Panda.

**???***
"Rubius, how goes your search?"

"Well, Wiseman, I have found signs of Rini, but no confirmed sightings. I 
shall continue
to observe."

"Very well, Rubius, remember I am counting on you."

**Spectre**

"Tetronite, I find your lack of results disappointing. Your energy 
expenditure is also unacceptable. I find I have no use for you but as a 
target. Good-bye Tetronite."

Tetronite vanished as soon as the wave of darkness hit him.

"Who will take his place? Kaolinite, you seem like a good choice. You shall 
lead."

"Yes, Spectre. I shall."

**??????***

"I knew eventually Spectre would find it necessary to cast me aside, that is 
why I have summoned you all here. You will be my new warriors. With your 
help, I will be able to destroy the evil of the Sailor Scouts. Then, sadly, 
I fear that we will have to stop Spectre. Her power lust has gotten in the 
way of her vision. I assume you will continue to help me?" Tetronite said as 
he faked remorse.

"Of course." Andross extended his hand.

"Good. Now as to this key." Tetronite held out the curious Gate Key. " I 
believe I may have figured out how to use it." Hey pressed several buttons. 
There was a flash of energy, which shot through the roof of his cave 
hideaway.

"Was it supposed to do that?" Cassie looked at the clean energy incision.

"No, but do not fear, I will find a way to get you home. There is still 
defeating the Sailors."

"We'll take care of it, Tetronite." Zane assured him.

"Then continue."

**Tendo residence**

"Akane, you can't be serious!" Her father shouted.

"It's only for a few days, father. I'll come back in one piece."

"Not alone you won't. Ranma will accompany you." Her father decided.

"Ranma?"<Well it isn't that bad. >

"Yes Ranma. He will assure you're safe."

"Did I just hear my name?" Ranma-chan said as she entered, sweating from her 
workout.

"Ranma, I want you to accompany Akane on her trip. She is visiting a nearby 
school for a few days to improve her cooking."

"Well it does need a little�" *Wham

"What?" Akane strung the mallet over her shoulder.

"All right I'll go." Ranma said as she applied ice to the huge welt now 
protruding from her mop of red hair. "Just keep calm, will ya'."

**End of Time**

"Magus, you have to recover that Gate Key. Already the time-line has been 
tampered with. Old powers are coming forward. They feel like those that 
emanated from Zeal, just before it's destruction. I don't know how you 
managed it but you must fix this. If too much more happens there could be 
permanent damage." Gaspar tipped his hat.

"I am well aware of the consequences, Guru. Rest assured I am trying to fix 
the problem."

**Tokyo **

"They're over there." Ranma heard a shout. A group of girls in abbreviated 
sailor costumes rushed across the street about a block ahead.

"I can't believe this, only a few hours off the bus and already there's 
trouble." Ranma watched them disappear around a corner.

"Ranma! Why were you looking at them?" Akane demanded.

"Well�" He started.

"Wait I recognize them. They're the Sailor Scouts. Let's go, there has to be 
trouble." She tugged at his arm.

"Akane�" A sudden surge of intuition flashed. "Look out!" He grabbed Akane 
and jumped from where they had just been. A group of rainbow bikers blasted 
the space they had just occupied.

"In the name of the Moon, I shall punish you!" The Scouts arrived.

"Power Rangers!" The bikers returned as they saluted their enemies. They 
jumped forward, attacking in unison. The Scouts, unprepared for these types 
of attacks, tried to back away and get them into a distance range. The 
punches and kicks continued.

"Don't you Sailors know any martial arts?" Ranma shouted to the astounded 
group. His only response was a shower of sparks from Sailor Moon's armor as 
the Red Ranger sliced with his Spiral Saber.  "That's it!" he got ready to 
attack the costumed man in red.

"Ranma!" Akane followed her fianc�' "You idiot there's six of them and one 
you."

"I like those odds." Ranma jumped at the Red Ranger, coming down with a 
furious kick.

"Who are you?" Sailor Moon asked as she tried to ignore the smoking dent in 
her armor.

There was a gasp as the Blue Ranger struck Sailor Mercury on her ribbon. She 
collapsed to the ground. The Blue Ranger stood there, stunned at what he had 
just done.

"Mercury! Why you�"Sailor Moon shouted at the Blue Ranger, "Moon Healing 
Activation!" The attack streamed towards him.

"TJ! We have to get out now!" Andross and the other rangers teleported.

"Gyahahhh." The Blue Ranger convulsed as the attack sent him flying. An 
orange glow appeared over him, which flew away as the attack continued 
striking him.

"All right, punk! Why were you and your rainbow colored companions attacking 
us? C'mon answer!" Jupiter shook the Blue Ranger.

"Huh?" He spoke from the helmet.

"I said�"Lita shook harder, "Why did you attack us?" She screeched.

"Tet�Tetron�Tetronite, he tricked us, didn't he? You aren't the bad guys, he 
is." The Blue Ranger mumbled.

"Darn right!" Jupiter threw the boy mercilessly to the ground.

"So now we know who these clowns are, and why they attacked us. I think it's 
time to deal with Tetronite." Sailor Moon declared.

"I'll help you, for my friends." The Blue Ranger powered down. "Hi I'm TJ. 
Is she going to be all right?" He pointed to Sailor Mercury. She was still 
down.

"You'd better hope so, cause if she ain't, I'm gonna rip the price out of 
your hide. Ranma Saotome." He introduced himself.

"And you are Serina, Rei, Lita, Mina, and Ami." TJ pointed to each of them 
in turn.

"How did you know?" Sailor Moon asked.

"We spied on you. We also stole something from the red-haired guy. Some kind 
of key." TJ struggled to remember.

"So that's what Marle was talking about." Rei said snapping her fingers.

"Is there anything I can do to help Sailor Mercury?" TJ said, looking at the 
fallen Scout.

"I think you have done enough pal. If we need your help, we'll find you." 
Lita snapped.

"As you say." TJ was genuinely hurt; "I'll go get lost then." He wandered 
away.

"You have to control your temper, Lita!" Mina growled.

"Why? He and his friends attacked us for no good reason." Jupiter glared at 
Venus.

"If you hadn't noticed they were under a spell." She replied coolly. "Which 
means you may have just driven off the only way we'll ever find Tetronite."

Sirens blared as police drove up. Jupiter picked up their fallen comrade and 
they ran away.

"Umm I guess we should leave too, Ranma." Akane looked at the cars.

"It never fails." Ranma muttered as they jumped to the rooftops in escape.

"What never fails?"

"Where ever I go, this weirdness follows." He said grimly.

**Tetronite's lair. **
"What do you mean you lost TJ?" Tetronite yelled incredulously.

"The Scouts destroyed him. But we got one of them in exchange." Andross said 
as he backed away from the frothing Tetronite.

"Good, good. Keep this up and you may yet get home." Tetronite mumbled as he 
regained his composure.


**Tokyo **

"Well this Hotel isn't too bad." Akane said as she lay onto the bed.

"Well it's all I could afford."Ranma sank down next to her. "So why are you 
really here?" he said softly.

"To get cooking lessons." Akane replied. "Don't you believe me?"

"Not for a second. What's the real reason?" He said looking into her eyes.

"Ranma, why do you care?" she said.

"I was jus' wonderin'. "He replied.

"It's because for awhile now I've wanted to get away from Nerima. Away from 
Mousse, Shampoo, and Ryoga." She said softly. <Plus I wanted to spend a 
little time alone with you. >>

"I can't say I blame you." Ranma sighed. "Well good night." He got off the 
bed and collapsed onto a handy futon. Within seconds he was snoring.

"Ranma� You idiot." Akane murmered into his ear. A slight grin creased the 
sleeping martial artists' face. "You dear, dear fool." She said as she 
rolled over and went to sleep.


O.K then, not much Action, but hey not every chapter will be action packed.
