Mist's Message of Love
A Sailor Moon/Pok�mon Fusion fic by Cosmic Knight

Part 1

Ikuko Tsukino flipped through the morning paper. The headline read:

	SAILOR V FOILS A PLOT TO
	STEAL A $3 MILLION DIAMOND

"Sailor V did it again!" said Ikuko happily. She sighed. "Compared to
Sailor V,my daughter is..." She heard a crash. "Ano..."

"Sorry,mom!" said a red-haired girl with a short ponytail,coming down.
"Morning,mom." She kissed her mother on the cheek. "I didn't mean to
make a racket,but I had to get ready for school."

"Do you ALWAYS make a racket when getting ready,dear?" asked Ikuko.

The girl,whose name was Misty,grinned. "Mom! I do try to be quiet."
She picked up some toast and ate it rapidly. "Gotta hurry if I want
to be early to class. Bye!" She hugged her mother and left.

"That girl..." sighed Ikuko,who went back to reading the paper.

"Ah,what a beautiful morning," sighed Misty,wearing her cute little
skirt and bows on her school outfit. "I doubt that anything can ruin
it." She then cried out as she tripped on something in her path. She
landed with a crash onto the sidewalk. "OUCH!" She got up and prepared
to kick the offending object away when she stopped.

"Oh,it's a cat!" she said. She picked up the black cat. "I'm sorry!"
She kissed its face. "I wasn't watching where I was going,ha ha ha."

The cat raked its claws across Misty's cheek. Misty dropped the cat 
and screamed. "OW!! What's the big idea,cat?"

"Mew," said the cat,putting its paw on its forehead. Misty saw that the
cat had a bandage across its forehead,just above the eyes.

"Oh,you want to remove it?" asked Misty. She giggled. "Okay,cat." She
carefully removed the bandage from the cat. She then noticed that a
golden crescent moon was on the cat's forehead,under the bandage.

The cat ran off. "Hmm...why did it do that?" thought Misty. "Oh well,
I won't worry about it. It's probably someone's cat." She left,not
noticing that the cat was hiding nearby and studying her.

~Is this the one?~ the cat thought to itself.

Misty met her best friend,Naru Osaka,in the courtyard of Juuban Middle 
School. Ever since she had been adopted by the Tsukinos from an American 
adoption program,she had gotten used to the Japanese customs. She bowed 
to Naru,who had been the first true friend she had made since moving to 
Japan. "Moshi moshi," she said to Naru.

"Moshi moshi," replied Naru. "Konnichi wa,Misty-chan."

"Same to you," said Misty. She and Misty went to class and sat down.

"Did you hear?" said Naru. "Sailor V stopped a robber."

"Who's this Sailor V character?" asked Misty,confused. "I heard about
her showing up in the news,but nothing specific."

A boy with thick glasses popped up. "You don't know Sailor V?!" he said
in shock. "She's a superheroine,fighting evil in a sailor fuku. Ever
since weird things have started happening,she has been around."

"Oh," said Misty. "Well,I think she's just a show-off."

"Hey,Misty," said Naru. "How about we go to my shop after school and
check out the jewels? Mom's selling them cheap today."

"Really?" asked Misty. "Cool! I'd love to check your stuff out!"

That afternoon,Misty and Naru went to Osa-P,the jewelry shop that
Naru's mother owned. "Look at all the jewelry!" said Misty in awe.
Her eyes lit up in eager anticipation. "They're so pretty!"

The two girls entered and gasped as they saw a horde of people in
the store,buying up the jewelry. "Look at all the people," said Naru.

"Yeah,I never knew your business was THIS good!" said Misty. She then
saw Naru's mom. "Hello,Osaka-san! Nice to see you!"

"Oh,if it isn't Naru and Misty," said Mrs. Osaka. "Welcome. I see you
are here to look over our wares. There are plenty of jewels for you."
She went over to some girls. "Just name your price,and we'll sell it!"

Naru frowned. "Mom never had a sale like THIS before," she mused.

Misty looked at her test. "Blast it," she said. "I just got a C. I'll 
never be able to get mom and dad to buy me one of these jewels."

"Live strong,Misty," said Naru,patting her friend on the shoulder.

As Misty left,Mrs. Osaka chuckled sinisterly. "He he,give us your
energy,humans. Give us all of your energy..."

Elsewhere,in a dark chamber,a man with short sandy hair smiled evilly
as he gathered the energy from the buyers. "There," he said. "The energy
of those who are lured by the radiance of jewels. Give it to me..."

Misty was walking home when he noticed a black-haired boy wearing a
baseball cap. She sighed - this was her worst nightmare,Ash Ketchum.
This boy was such a numbskull and so arrogant. Still,he was in the
way,so she dashed by him in hopes of him not noticing her.

It failed miserably.

"Hey,if it isn't the tomboy!" said Ash,smiling.

"Get lost,Ash!" shouted Misty,turning on him. "I hate you!"

"Hey,I wouldn't bother you if you didn't have to keep passing by me,"
said Ash,sticking his tongue out at her.

"Well,I wouldn't pass by you if you DIDN'T stand in my WAY!" She shoved
him rudely into a lamppost. "JERK!" She stomped off.

She stopped by the Crown Game Center and saw a poster advertising the
new Sailor V game. "Sailor V is such a show-off," she muttered. "She
prances about in that silly skirt and fights evil. Well,I'm sure glad
*I* don't act like that." She giggled and walked off.

The cat was watching her again. ~I found her at last...~

"I'm home!" said Misty as she came in. She then noticed that her mother
was out. A young sandy-haired boy came out.

"Hey,Misty," said the boy. "Mom's gone shopping. She'll be home soon."

"Fine," said Misty. She passed the boy. "I'll be upstairs,Shingo. DO NOT
DISTURB ME." She had that creepy look on her face that made Shingo nod
in a promise not to bother her. She went upstairs and studied for a bit.

As she studied,the window opened. Misty turned to see the black cat come
in and stare at her on the desk. She ignored it until it pawed her.

"Go away,you stupid cat," said Misty. "I'm studying!"

"Hmph,how rude!" said the cat.

Misty's eyes became as big as saucers. She turned to the cat. "You..."

The cat continued to speak. "My name is Luna. I have been looking for
you,Tsukino Misty. Thank you for removing that horrible bandage. As long
as it was on my crescent moon,I was unable to talk and my intelligence
was reduced to that of a normal cat. Kids these days..."

"I get it," said Misty,smiling and closing her eyes. "This is some silly
trick that Shingo's playing on me. Oh SHIIIIINGO!!" She opened her eyes.

"This isn't some trick!" shouted Luna in frustration.

"It's not?" asked Misty,looking at the cat.

"Here,take this," said Luna. She leapt into the air and did a complex
backflip. At the apex of the flip,a golden brooch with a crescent moon
etched on it appeared and hit the desk with a clatter.

"What a beautiful brooch!" said Misty,taking it. "Is this for me?"

"Yes," said Luna with a nod.

"Cool!" said Misty,taking the brooch and slipping it on. She went to
the mirror. "I don't care if it IS a trick! Shingo just lost the bet
that I was going crazy. Hee hee hee!"

"Listen carefully,Misty," said Luna. "Strange things have been happening
in Tokyo. The police won't be able to do anything about them. You're the
only hope,Misty-chan. You are a warrior destined to fight evil. You must
find the other warriors and the Princess."

Misty then noticed that the brooch was glowing. "Hey,what's up?"

"Say 'Moon Prism Power,Make Up!'" commanded Luna.

"Moon Prism Power...Make Up?" asked Misty. As soon as she uttered those
words,the brooch erupted with light and blinded her. A tingling feeling
crept across Misty's body. When she recovered,she discovered,with great
horror,that her clothing had changed into...

"Sailor V's outfit?!" cried Misty in shock. She blushed fiercely to see
that she was indeed wearing the blue skirt,red bows,gloves,and tiara of
Sailor V. However,there were differences;her feet were decked with long
red boots with heels in them,and she wore a red ribbon to tie off her
hair. The bodice and skirt were attached together with a V-shaped seam.

"ACK!!" cried Misty,trying to find something to cover her legs. "This
is MAJOR embarrasing! I can't believe I was suckered into this!"

Just then,her earrings flashed and she heard Naru's screams. "HELP!
HELP ME!! MOM IS---AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!"

"N-Naru-chan!" cried Misty. "She's in danger!"

"Do you believe me now?" said Luna. "You have to help her."

"MOM!" cried Naru as Mrs. Osaka strangled her. "YOU'RE KILLING ME!"

"I'm not your mother,dear Naru," teased the woman as she slowly morphed
into a hideous monster. "Your mother is probably dying right now."

"NOOOOOOOO!!!" screamed Naru.

Misty stormed inside. "Let Naru-chan go NOW!"

"Who are you?" demanded the monster in disgust.

"Uh...ah..." said Misty,a big sweatdrop forming on her head. She then
noticed the moon peeking out of the sunset and realized something. "In
the name of love of justice,I am the bishoujo sailor senshi,Sailor Moon!
In the name of the moon,I will punish you." She pointed at the monster.

"Sailor Moon?" asked the monster with a sneer. "Never heard of her. No
matter. Arise,my loyal servants,and get that girl!"

The girls who had given up their energy to the evil man slowly got up
and started to attack Misty. She dodged them.

"Hey,stop it!" shouted Misty.

"Fight them,Sailor Moon!" commanded Luna. "Get rid of that demon!"

Misty gritted her teeth. "Okay,here I go!" She socked one girl in
the jaw and downed her,then kicked another in the gut. In a matter
of seconds,the flock of possessed girls was down.

"Impossible..." said the monster in shock. "Well,I will just have to 
deal with you myself!" She grabbed Misty by the neck and choked her.

"SAILOR MOON!" cried Luna in horror.

*TWHACK!* A rose pierced the demon's arm and forced it to let go.
A boy wearing a tuxedo,a white mask,and a top hat landed next to
Misty,his cane out. "Now,Sailor Moon,now's your chance!"

"Sailor Moon," said Luna. "Use your tiara. Say 'Moon Tiara Action.'"

Misty shook her head,but decided not to question the weird cat. ~Hey,
this dream is pretty weird as it gets,~ she thought. She removed the
tiara and saw,with surprise,how it changed into a disc of light. She
spun about once and then reared back. "Moon Tiara...ACTION!" she 
cried,throwing the disc like a frisbee.

The tiara flipped through the air as it arced towards the monster.

"KYAAAAAAAAAH!!!" cried the monster as the disc sliced into its gut.
But the mere touch made the creature flash and crumble into dust.

"No way..." said Misty,swooning. The boy grabbed her as she fainted.
She opened her eyes and blushed,smiling softly. The boy picked her
back up. "Thanks for catching me,sir...who are you?"

"I am Tuxedo Kamen," said the boy. "I didn't see the Moon Crystal,
but I got to see you,Sailor Moon. I won't forget this." He tipped
his hat and left the store,leaving Misty and Luna behind.

Misty blushed deeply. "What a guy..." she whispered with a sigh.

"You did a great job,Sailor Moon," said Luna. "But this is only the
beginning. There will be more monsters and...Misty-chan?!"

~I hope I see him again,~ thought Misty,hearts in her eyes.

Naru slowly woke up. Luna bit on Misty's boot. "Come on,Sailor Moon."

"Sure," said Misty,leaving the store while daydreaming.

In the dark chamber,the energy ball crumbled. The man snarled as he
grabbed his hand into a fist. "Blasted Sailor Moon..."

The next morning,Misty was still daydreaming as Naru nudged her. "Hey,
Misty,you won't believe what happened! A monster tried to kill me,but
a beautiful Sailor fuku warrior saved me and my mom!"

"Really?" asked Misty.

"Yeah," said Naru with stars in her eyes. "I wish I hadn't fainted. Then
I would have seen what she looked like!"

Misty sighed and looked at her brooch. ~If only you knew,Naru-chan...~

Notes and Scribblings:

C&C are greatly desire,public or private. Please give me feedback.

The title is pretty lame,but I don't have any idea for a new title.

Where did this story come from. Well,Misty is my favorite Pok�mon
character,and Sailor Moon happens to be my favorite anime,next to
Pok�mon. After reading a story called "Watering of the Horse",which
put Ami in the place of Akane,I had an idea. What if I replaced Usagi
with Misty of Pok�mon,and how she'd react to being a magical girl?
In this fusion,Ash and Misty are NOT Pok�mon trainers,and never will
be. This is Sailor Moon,and the Pok�mon do not exist.
