Thanks for the comments.  Here's one huge response to everybody.  The 
purpose of this fic was to show a different side of Nabiki than depicted in 
most fics.  She was basically a bit character and thus we never really go 
into that much detail about her personal life.  We get some, but not enough 
to say that her life is business.  Business and personal stuff are two 
different things, which I tried to show by having Nabiki first try to 
dismiss the topic of her business and then get upset.
     As such, I'm not really concentrating on the other characters at all.  
Akane's reaction was pretty stereotypical, but it actually makes sense.  
Nabiki bluntly suggested that she go ot with Ranma.  Many people respond 
negatively to blunt comments and considering that this is Akane and the 
topic being discussed.
     Kensuke isn't really all that important.  He was just some guy for her 
to go on a date with.  You don't have to totally infatuated to go on a date. 
  He'll probably only get a couple more dates at most.  He's just there.  He 
doesn't matter.
     Extortion and blackmail are two different things.  I personally 
consider extortion(physical threats) a lot worse because people have to 
deserve it at least a little to be blackmailed.  Or they could just be 
stupid like Ranma.  Even if Nabiki did extort people she wouldn't admit it 
to her date.
     Okay, I have two saying Nabiki was OOC and one saying it fit, so I 
can't be totally in the wrong. I never read the volume 29.  I'd be 
interested in knowing waht happened or where I can see a copy.  I'm cheap, 
so find preferably a free means.
     I'm just going to take a guess at who her date was, though, because the 
only love interest I've heard of for Nabiki was Kinnosuke.  If he was the 
date, then that would have no bearing on the date I wrote.  Kinnosuke was 
supposedly a potential rival for Nabiki and was a money lover too.  A date 
with him would be different than a date with more run-of-the-mill guys 
(which Kensuke really is).
     This is a one-shot since there really isn't much plot to it and I don't 
feel I'm ready to write a good series yet.  I plan on writing a bad series 
after I'm done with this story though.  Send more comments.
