Chapter 4-Dark Tide Rising

Sailor Moon is the creation of Naoko Takauchi. Crono, Marle, Lucca, and
all other Chrono Trigger Cast Members are the property of Square. I am 
assuming that Saban Entertainment and Fox Kids own the Power Rangers.C+C is 
reqested (Take it apart if you want, just remember where the pieces go.)
O.K. I think that's all, On with the show.

Sailor Moon had expected many reactions from people when she requested that 
they join her and her friends. Fear was natural, anger could happen, joy was 
even a factor. The one thing she had not thought about was sorrow. Yet there 
sat Sailor Neptune, weeping like a broken hearted child, and for the life of 
her she couldn't figure out why. "Neptune are you O.K?" She said kneeling 
next to her.

"O.K? You dare to ask me that! I don't want this! My friends are at risk as 
long as I'm like this! My very life is in danger! I don't want this!" She 
screamed as she rose. She looked at the multi-colored group then at herself. 
"I DON"T WANT THIS!" She ran away as fast as she could.

"Neptune, wait!" Sailor Moon started after her.

"Don't." Magus said in a voice that Sailor Moon found very scary. "This is a 
decision she has to face by herself. I'll watch over her. I've been doing it 
long enough that she won't notice me." There was whirl of black and the old 
wizard disappeared.

"That old man really creeps me out." Sailor Jupiter said to Sailor Moon.

"Tetronite I told you to stop Magus from interfering. Why is that he has 
brought another pest into our midst?" Spectre questioned.

"The old man is far stronger than I expected Mistress. I underestimated him. 
It is a mistake I shall not repeat."

"See that you don't Tetronite. See that you don't." Spectre replied.

**Tokyo. **

Sailor Neptune's thoughts swirled through her head so fast that she feared 
she would faint. She kept running at a blinding pace. Her chest hurt from 
the lack of oxygen. Her legs were weak from effort. Her face was tight from 
the tears that still flowed, now falling in a swift river she could not 
control. Finally she exhausted herself and collapsed in a nearly vacant 
park. "What do I do?" She moaned as she tried to sort through the torrent of 
emotion.

She remembered the raw power she had felt after transforming. She had become 
stronger than a hundred normal Marle's. She looked at the Power Rod. It gave 
her strength unmatched in her time.

She remembered Crono and Lucca both trying to attack the monster. How the 
monster had flung the attacks away and how it had literally knocked aside 
the strongest warrior in Guardia.

There was the Lavos Spawn. It howled menacingly. The spines smashing into 
Sailor Jupiter throwing her to the ground, unconscious. The thing had been 
proud of that. Lucca was destroying it.

"Look Mommy a Sailor Scout!" A small boy shouted pointing at Marle, "isn't 
that cool.

The mother took one glance at Marle a look of fear crossing her face. "Come 
on Joseph, we have to go now." She pulled the boy out of there.

"But Mommy..." The boy broke away and ran towards Marle, "This is too cool." 
He reached out his hand cautiously as if Marle were some kind of apparition 
that would spirit away if touched. His hand touched Marle's glove, "So you 
aren't just illusions." He said in awe.

"Come along Joseph I'm sure she's busy." His mother firmly grasped the kid's 
hand.

"Bye."The boy said to Marle.

The look of the mother stang into Marle's mind. These people had to deal 
with these monster things a lot if she knew that a Sailor Scout meant 
trouble even though there was no signs of it.

"So you've finally reached a decision." Magus said as he appeared.

"Not yet."Marle replied.

"Really? I would have never guessed." Magus looked at her.

"Don't." Marle said irratibly.

"Don't what?"

"Look at me like that. I don't like this." She gestured to the mini-skirt.

"Is that all you're worried about? Propriety? Honestly Marle no one will try 
anything on you when you are dressed like that." Magus said staring at her 
face.

"That's why I'm going to not transform unless absolutly neccasary." Marle 
said softly, almost wistfully.

"I thought you hadn't decided yet." Magus replied.

"I...you tricked me." Marle indiginantly declared.

"No I helped you see what was in your heart not your mind. You want to help 
these people but your mind got in the way of your heart, You can't stand 
people who live in fear, and the only thing stopping you from helping was 
your sense of modesty. It's a good thing but in the wrong place right now." 
Magus shrugged.

"I...Magus...is Crono O.K?"She said wiping at her face.

"He's resting very comfortably. The impact was minor, as is Lucca. Now come 
then Sailor Neptune, it is time for you to join your allies."Magus spoke 
gently. Marle felt a wave of magic hit her as Magus teleported them both to 
the Sailor Scouts.

"The situation has worsened Master. I believe you should implement your 
plan."

"I shall do as you recommend, Tetronite. I hope you are correct in your 
assumption."

"It is your will Master."

**Tokyo **

"They seem all right." Serena said. She and the other Scouts had powered 
down, and they now stood in a concerned group around the two fallen time 
travelers.

"Their vital signs are good, high even. They'll be up in a matter of hours." 
Ami said.

"I think I found something you lost." Magus said as he and Marle whirled in.

"Are you O.K. Marle?" Serena asked genuinly concerned.

"I had to do some thinking Serena. I'm fine now."

"Your friends are fine." Ami assured Marle, "Although you may want to clean 
up a bit. Your face is a wreck."She said in her kind manner.

"Raye, can I call you my friend?" Marle asked, "I don't know what I did but 
I'm sorry."

Raye looked at Marle, sizing her up "We'll see." She said ominously.

Marle looked hurt.

"Just remember, I get first dibs when you find an apartment." Raye said 
quickly.

Marle gave her a funny look. The comment smoothed the whole conflict over. 
"Got it."

"Then welcome again." Said Luna.

**Outer space **

"Rubius I want you to find the Rabbit. She's been sent to this time period 
from the future. Locate her and give her to me."

"Yes Wiseman I shall."

**? **
"Tetronite go to the planet. I want you to continue on your energy 
gathering. My other operatives will take care of the Sailor Scouts, however 
many there may be."

**Tokyo **

"Well Luna we have a new ally." Serena said as she lay down to go to sleep.

"Three I think. Marle's friends seem to be very competent fighters. It 
wouldn't surprise me if they came along with her no matter what." Luna 
sighed as she curled next to Serena.

**Outer Space **

"We have a strange energy reading on sensors." A female computer voice said.

"Lock on and scan further, Deka." Andross ordered.

"It appears to be some kind of energy barrier."

"Put in a course. Let's see what's on the other side."

"Yes Andross. Course plotted, engaging at hyper-rush 3."

Well there's Chapter 4. I think chapter 5 will end part 1 (The Convergence 
Project) And then I'll do some longer chapters in part 2(I haven't titled it
