Hello hello!
Taking a break from whatever it is that I'm supposed to be doing, to bring
you just ramblings from my twisted mind.
So you may be asking yourself; "What the heck is this about?"
Well, frankly.. it's what it says it is. They are spamfics that were
roaming around my head, but I just didn't think they had enough potential to
become a full-fledged fanfic.
Either that, or was just bored, and let my fingers do the typing without me
thinking. (It's what I usually do with my fanfics.. can tell, can't ya?)
The stories here will vary. So I don't have one usual disclaimer for all of
them. But I guess this'll do. None of the characters belong to me. That's
an obvious. They belong to several big-wig cooperations that make
mucha-lana with these characters. I am not using them for profit, but soley
on entertainment purposes only. All rights reserved to whomever reserved
them. Thank you for reading.
And now.. for my first "Spamfic that never made it..."
Gargoyles and Ranma 1/2 crossover
The night's chill was cold enough to keep the mists from rising, creating
an erie and mystic effect to the land. Sticking out from the mists were
what looked like bamboo poles, but they were spread out sparsely. The
sounds of the night were playing, the choir of crickets kept the place from
being a bit too deserted. Just then, a shadow is seen moving across the
mist. It's movement caused the fog to spread out, revealing a wooden
dragon's head.
"Where do you suppose Avalon has taken us now?"
The mists clear up a little, and a what we see is a large raft, on a small
pool of water. The raft has a norwegian look. The dragon's head,
supposably to strike fear to upcoming enemies, or to show which god looked
after them. It's one of the two.. I don't know. Upon the skiff, were
several odd-looking passangers. One was a male, tall and bulk. He wore what
looked like a cape, probably to sheild himself from the cold. Two were
female, both had long hair, but one also adorned the cloak, while the other
looked like jeans and short jacket. The other could only be described as a
either a wild boar.. or a really huge dog.
The skiff slides itself onto the edge of the pool, and the big burly man
hops onto the ground, and pulls the skiff more onto land. He holds out his
hand, and helps the ladies off the boat. The dog-like creature hops out
fine by himself. They each look around their surroundings, in awe and
confusion.
"One thing's for sure, it's not Manhattan." The lady with the jacket
sighed.
"Where are we? The land.. it's full of other pools." The lady with the
cloak questioned.
"I don't know, Angela. Perhaps we're back in the United States. We could
be in Minnisota. They have an area called "the land of a thousand lakes."
We could be there."
Angela, the girl with the cloak nods. By this time, the the mist has
cleared around them, enabling them to see the various pools around them, and
also see what these strangers look like. By the moonlight, the big-bulky
male could hardly be called anything human. His features square and rigid.
His skin a bluish tint, and hair the color of a starless sky flowing down
his back. He seemed to be standing upon the ball of his feet, similar to
the style of cats. The large tail did not hurt that image. His "cape" did
not look cloth-like, but rather of a thin-rubbery film, as if made of the
same material of a bat's wing. Two claws held the cape around his broad
chest. Angela, one of the other companions, was similar in almost every
way, except for the build. Her features were smaller and more rounder,
defining her femininity. The other female was more likely to be human. She
did not dorn a tail, nor a cape. Her skin was a tanned-flesh color. Her
red jacket seemed to scream out her location. Her jeans were skin-tight.
The beast-like creature, although on all fours like a canine, was anything
but. It was hair-less, and had large fangs shooting out from his lower jaw.
It's skin was a bluish tint as well, and it's claws looked like talons,
ready to slash at anything that it deemed threatening.
Suddenly, the dog-like monster began to growl.
"What is it, Bronx?" Asked the human.
"Nihou?" Said a voice, somewhere within the mists.
"Hello?" The human responded.
Suddenly the owner behind the voice emerged from the mists. He was a
chubby old man, Chinese looking, and even adorning a communist uniform.
"Customer, here come bad. Is springs damned here." The chinese guide said,
obviously in baddly spoken English. Suddenly the guide stepped back,
glancing at the two creatures behind the human. What shocked the creatures
most wasn't that he didn't scream, or run away, but the fact that he pulled
out a steaming kettle out of nowhere, and commenced to pour it upon them.
*GRROWWWLL* "What was that for?" Asked the bulky creature.
The guide blinked.
"Damned not you?" Then the guide did what was expected at this situation.
He fainted.
A little while later, the guide awoke, only to find the human-woman looking
back at him.
"Creatures here not? Dream is was?"
"Is he awake Elisa?" Angela asked, standing up from the bank of one of the
pools she'd been observing. The guide only shakes his head.
"Yes Angela, bring Goliath and Bronx. Perhaps they'd also would like to
know where we are."
Angela nodded. Her cape unlatched, revealing themselves to be wings. She
flapped them, clearing out the mists around them, and shot up towards the
sky, to find her companions. Elisa sat down next the guide, who was busily
rubbing his temples.
"Excuse me, where are we?"
The guide, looks up at Elisa, thought for a moment about how to word what
he was to say. At this moment the other two creatures arrived, along with
their beast-dog.
"Is you training ground springs damned, Jusenkyou. Springs each legend
have. You who?"
"I am Elisa Maza." The human woman responded. "That's Goliath," looking
toward the brusque creature, "Angela," looking at the female creature, "and
that there is Bronx." She compleated, looking toward the dog-like creature.
"Damned springs?" Goliath asked, "Do you mean "cursed" springs? What sort
of magic do these springs behold?"
"Cur-sed springs legend have. Fall spring, get bad fate."
"Show us. Show us how these springs work." Angela pleaded, trying to
sustain her curiousity.
"Bad Idea, customer. No one deserve fate of spring cursed. Tea wish
customers? Come to hut. Stay night yes? Bad travel fog now."
Goliath smiled. "Yes, we'd appreciate that. Thank you."
As the group headed toward the guide's shack, Angela turned to Goliath.
"Goliath, why do you think we were sent here? I don't sense any trouble
that we can help."
"Avalon must has a reason. Perhaps the problem has yet to show itself."
After that, the group walked onward, silently. Suddenly, Elisa noticed a
presence lacking within their group.
"Hey, where's Bronx?"
A splash responded her question. The group ran toward where they thought
the location of the splash came from, only to find a piglet trying to swim
itself to the surface. Goliath, feeling a bit of pitty for the creature,
swiftly fetched it out of the pool, and placed it upon the dry ground.
The guide, having finally caught up with his rapid companions, caught his
breath, then pulled out a sign that was written in Chinese.
"Oh bad! Heituenniichuan, customer fall in! Legend pig drowned, 1,200 year
ago! Now damned to take body of little black piglet."
"What?" Asked Elisa, disbelivingly.
The guide just shook his head in pitty, and pulled out another kettle of
hot water, then began to pour it upon the piglet. The piglet instantly
grew. It's black fur shrank, it's hooves formed into claws, and teeth
emerged from it's mouth, as it's snout reduced in size. Bronx shook out the
hot water, sprinkling the others in it's task.
"Is there any cure for this?" Angela asked, curiosity still getting the
best of her.
"Cold water bring curse, hot water bring back. Only cure know of now."
"So finally we know what he meant by 'damned springs'." Elisa smirked.
"But still, that does not explain as to why Avalon sent us here." Goliath
responded. " No matter, stay away from the springs. Who knows what other
curses lie within each srping. Come, the sun is about to rise. We should
find shelter for tonight, then set off tomorrow."
The group walked cautiously opon the soggy terain, those with claws using
their talons to grip upon the surface. Those without claws just hoped their
balance was good. Suddenly the sound of a twig snapping alerted everyone.
Angela turned, just in time to be pounced on what looked like a large black
panther. Angela fell onto her back, and used her legs to propell the feline
away from her person. She quickly gets up. In her haste, she had hardly
any time to grip onto the slippery mud, causing her to fall into one of the
springs.
*SPLASH*
"Oooo! Very Bad! Miss Customer spring of drown child fall now! Story tragic
of little boy drown spring 956 year ago!"
Angela just ignored the guide's ranting, and stood up, ready for another
attack by the feline, but finds it pouncing onto Goliath, sinking it's claws
into his tough hide, using momentum to push him backwards. Of course, as
fate would have it, there was a spring behind him. The cat leaped off the
falling form of the Gargoyle, just in time before...
*SPLASH*
"Cat is maybe from spring of drown panther.. drown there 1, 090 year ago.
Ooooo! Bad! Strange customer fall in Nyanniichuan! 1500 year ago there
drown girl! Now cursed too!" The guide then pulled out another kettle, and
threw the contents toward the panther, who was eyeing them all, hungrily.
The emense feline shrank in form, and a small lizard skurtied toward the
bushes.
Elisa just blinked at the events that unfolded before her. Her attentions
then snapped back to the emerging figure that was trying to exit from the
pool. The girl climbed out of the pool, choking out the water. She then
stood up and turned to face those around her.
"An...Angela? G-Goliath?" Elisa blinked, this time in utter shock.
What was instead a tall, dark, masculine gargoyle wearing a loin-cloth,
was now a petite, feminine, black-haired girl, wearing only a loincloth.
The other shock was the little child, which was once a once a young gargoyle
female. The boy was clearly trying to hold the loin-cloth up, but with no
avail. Thankfully, the leather top was big enough to cover up him modestly.
Goliath looked up at Elisa. Strange, why was Elisa taller? Hmm.. His
balance was off, especially from the lack of weight on his back, and the
increase of mass on the front. Goliath looked down to see why this was so,
and blinked. His once bluish skin was now a pale-peach color, his wet,
black hair half covered the feminine bossom that was sticking out where his
once, hard, flat chest was. His sharp talons have narrowed he now had smooth
human hands. Goliath scrambled toward one of the pools to view his
reflextion. He did not like the results. No.. he did not like the fact
that there was a beautiful young human looking back at him, when instead
there should have been a Gargoyle. Goliath leaned his... now her head back,
and screamed. This seemed to bring the sun up from the horizon. The sounds
of flesh turning into stone materialized around her. Bronx's rock-like
features were solidified into a look of confusion.
"Angela! Goliath.. you.. didn't turn into stone!" Elisa exclaimed.
"I am... a human. A female human!" Goliath repeated to himself, as if
trying to settle the new information into his system.
"And I.. a human Child! What is going on here?" Angela still surprised to
fully understand what has happened.
"Customer, bring water I. Change back, want you?"
"Perhaps it is the curse that keeps us from turning into stone." Goliath
reasoned.
Elisa couldn't help but to grin. Goliath then turned toward the rising
sun, and smiled, for the first time in his existance, he was feeling the
warmth of the sun upon his skin. Well.. okay, just feeling the warmth of
the sun.
"Never did I think I'd live to see the actual sun rising, and to feel the
warmth upon me. If only the others could feel it." Goliath's smile
disapeared, as he remembered the rest of his existing clan. Elisa, seeing
this, placed a hand over Goliath's cursed form's shoulder.
"Don't worry Goliath, we'll get back to New York soon. Come, we must get
our rest."
"But.. are we stuck like this? I do not want to be cursed to that of a
human boy!" The boy spat out, a bit panicked over the situation.
Goliath then turned toward the guide.
"You said there was no known cure for this?"
"Hot water change customer back. Cold water return curse. Only known cure."
Goliath nodded. The guide then handed the kettle toward the petite girl.
As if to fufill curiosity, Goliath emptied the contents over him/herself,
instantly returning his form back to gargoyle, which instantly solidified
into stone, thanks to the light of the sun.
Angela blinked.
Elisa looked curiously at this.
"Do you have any regular cold water, I want to find something out."
The guide then nodded, and pulled out a bucket of cold water out of
nowhere. Elisa, sort of used to this mystery, just took it without
question, and poured it on Goliath. The stone skin cracked, revealing the
half-naked girl.
"This could come in handy, you know." Smirked Elisa. And with that, the
humans (okay.. two humans and two cursed gargoyles turned human) headed
toward the guide's hut for nurishment and rest.
The final ray's of the sun faded as the orb sank into beneath the edge of
the world. Within the are of the cursed springs, sounds of rock shattering,
and monsterous growls echoed throught the area.
"It is time to go." A voice called.
Bronx turned and saw Goliath in his cursed form, with Angela in her cursed
form, along with Elisa by her side, walking toward them.
"I still wonder why Avalon sent us to this cursed place!" Angela steamed,
furious that she now turned into a human. Not that she didn't have anything
against humans, just that she was happy being just a gargoyle.
"There is nothing any of us can do, unless we return to Avalon somehow.
Perhaps Magus will know of a cure. Untill then..." He left the last
sentence broken, as he didn't know what to do. Although he loved the
feeling of warmth the sun gave him, it was still a curse, a curse that fated
him to become a human.. a female human no less.
The mists from the night before, were emerging once again. They all walked
toward the skiff, and aboarded it. With the staff, they pushed themselves
from the shore, and started again upon their journey. It was a rather short
one, for they felt the skiff running into rocky-land again.
Elisa looked around. The mist was disapearing rapidly, enabling them to
see instantly where they had arrived to. The kiff had somehow landed them in
a small pond, full of large, yellow-white-black fish, (known as koi). There
was a wooden house very close by, a man and what appeared to be a panda were
playing a game together. The panda growlfed, and looked over at the koi
pond and blink. It pulled out a sign, that had kanji written over it.
<Uh.. Tendo-san. You have visitors!> The sign read.
Soun, looked up from the game, giving the panda a good opportunity to take
some of the opposing side's peices. Soun, oblivious the panda's actions,
looks to see who the guests were.
"Ano.. How did you get that boat into my pond?"
Suddenly, a young woman emerged onto the porch, carrying a tray with a
sake-bottle and two miniature cups. She looks at the strangers that were
still on the skiff, which was somehow in the pond. She smiled.
"Oh my.. Guests! Would you like some tea?"
((probably to never be continued.. unless I'm feeling desperatly bored....))
