Well, the TV series is an alt-uni from the OVAs. Sort of like Tenchi OVA
and TV. I doubt if it will detract from the story in any way.
He was probably talking about the 2nd TV series, which is set in the
OAV continuity. At least, that's what they say - haven't seen it yet,
aside from synopses.
"Try some of this," Fujisawa-sensei slurred, pouring a
glistening alcoholic beverage the colour of a sunset into her
cup from a fluted glass bottle. The beverage smelled like a not
entirely pleasant mix of plums and cherry blossoms, and Nanami
eyed it dubiously.
Fujisawa hiccuped, and grinned drunkenly at her. "It's
de-licious. I won't tell anyone you're under age."
Hmm. Part of me wonders if he would do this. He does seem a bit protective
of Makoto and Nanami. Still, a very minor quibble.
I don't think he'd do it, either. I may be mixing continuities, but
he was opposed to giving Shayla anything to drink once, too. Now, he
may be easily duped into doing it when he's drunk, but I don't think
he'd offer any alcohol to Nanami on his own.
Makoto made a helpless gesture with his hands. "Maybe time
passes differently here. Maybe we've only been gone for a few
hours back home. Or even a few minutes."
"Maybe."
He could always point out that Ifuruta had been buried in the ancient past
back home, yet only left El-Hazard a day or two ago, so it's pretty safe
to assume it's possible somehow.
10000 years, wasn't it?
