Instant Disposal
Lina sighed.
"Look, it's really easy. You know that there's more than one way
to get rid of the ring, right?"
Gandalf hemmed and hawwed, while Frodo looked on with worry. The
outcome of this debate would determine his immediate future. The two
mages had been arguing for two hours, and neither had made any progress.
Finally, Lina had enough.
She pointed to Frodo. "Firla, eat him."
"You must be joking. I will not jus-MMMPPPphhhh"
During the dragon's protests, Lina had picked up the unfortunate
halfling, and was now trying to stuff him in Firla's mouth.
Gandalf quickly motioned for Zel and Gourry to help restrain the
mad mage. "Lina, I *really* think we should try the Crack of Doom
option first."

Didn't Gandalf say that the rings could also be destroyed if eaten by
dragons?
The lesser rings could be destroyed by dragon fire (which is apparently
what happened to some of the dwarf rings). Not the One.
It's been a long time since I've picked up my LotR books.
Haven't seen TRY yet, so if Firla's one line didn't click, I plead
ignorance.
