I've been writing a series of SI fics that involve a character I call
Richard Lawson, Universe Traveler.  I enjoy writing them.  I don't
"publish" them because I know they're only interesting to me.

My good friend Sebastian Weinberg enjoys reading them (much to my
amazement).  So I write them and toss them off to him for general
commentary.

Part 7 was supposed to go to him.  Instead it went to the FFML.  I'm
guessing that I misclicked in my address book.

That bit in the middle about Windows 98 is a joke between Bast and I.
We've been having discussions about OS's and their various merits.
Please ignore what is said there; I really don't believe Win98 is
inherently superior (far from it).  It was just a joke, honestly.

I've done more embarrassing things in my life.  But not many.  ;;^_^
