Chapter 2- Dark Reflections.

Sailor Moon is the creation of Naoko Takauchi. Crono, Marle, Lucca, and
all other Chrono Trigger Cast Members are the property of Square.
O.K. I think that's all, On with the show.

	"That is most definitely not a Nega-verse monster."Ami said
as she finished scanning the large monster. "I've never seen power
readings like this before. It's even stronger than the blast that took out 
Beryl."
	"And it's mad!"Serina warned. "Watch out!" Several needle
spores shot at the Scouts.
	"Jupiter Thundeclap, Sound!" The lightning ball streaked towards the 
creature. It fizzled harmlessly off of its back. "My lightning didn't hurt 
it." Sailor Jupiter informed her companions.
	"Target the things head!" A shout came from nowhere.
	"Screeeeeeeeeeeee!" The Lavos Spawn flung the spines at Sailor Jupiter.
She went flying back from the impact, and lay there unconscious.
	"Mercury Ice Storm, Blast!" Mercury shouted. The icy rain hammered into its 
head. The thing's single eye glared balefully at her.
	"Mars Celestial Fire, Surround!" The flaming rings flew into
the creature. It howled in pain and tried to back away.
	"My shot." Lucca said as she moved into range. "Flare!" Balls of fire 
coalesced onto the creature, a nova of fire energy ripped at its head and 
shell. There was a fizzling sound as the creature disappeared.
	"Mars that was on par with your Celestial Fire." Ami said looking at her 
red skirted companion.
	"What was that thing?" Sailor Mars said to Lucca.
	"A Lavos Spawn. You think that was bad, you should have seen their father."
	"Their?"
	"Yeah, I've seen three others. They move from world to world, draining away 
life energy. Then they reproduce and try to populate other worlds. They're a 
lot worse when they becom fully mature." Lucca replied.
	"That was a baby?" Mars said in a shocked voice.
	"The adults are, at my best estimates, a mile wide and at least fifty times 
stronger. Their shells are impenatrable."
	"Which is why you told me to attack it's head." Mars said comprehending.
	"No, in a Spawn if you attack the shell it automatically fires deadly 
needles at you. Only the head is truley vulnerable." Lucca shrugged.
	"Amazing!" Luna said as she finally caught up with her pupil. "Simply 
amazing!"
	"A talking cat?" Marle said as she knelt next to the small feline.
	"Oops." Luna replied.
	"Well I guess the cat's out of the bag now." Mina said without cracking a 
smile.
	The others all looked at her funny.
	"I am..."Luna began.
	"Luna, the advisor to Queen Serenity." Magus dropped in. " I remember."
	"YOU!!!!" Luna hissed. She jumped at Magus, thouroughly attempting to shred 
him.
	"Knock it off, little puss-in-boots. I bear no malice to you anymore."
	"Huh?" Marle and Serina said at the same time.
	"This man works for the Nega-verse!" Luna shouted.
	"Venus Love Me Chain, Encircle!" Venus shouted.
	"Don't even!" Magus drew his scythe and sliced the chain in half. "I didn't 
come to fight you." The last whisps of Sailor Venus' attack disappeared.
	"Magus what the heck have you been doing?" Lucca said shocked.
	"My magic won't help her." Marle said as she knelt over the fallen Sailor 
Jupiter.
	"She's still transformed. It can't reach her until the armor is gone." 
Magus explained.
	"Get the armor off of her, NOW!" Marle demanded.
	"Why should we trust her? She is the friend of the enemy." Mars said.
	"If you don't help her, Lita will die." Magus said simply.
	"How would you know? Why should we listen to you?" Mars replied.
	"I'll do it then." Ami approached Lita and took out her mini computer. She 
pressed several buttons. After a few seconds the armor was gone. Lita lay 
there battered and bruised in an unwholesome looking color.
	"Cure." Marle whispered. A glow passed over Lita. Most of the bruises 
vanished as if they had never been there at all. "There, she should be fine 
with a little rest." Marle rose. With a sudden sigh she began to collapse.
	Crono was there in an instant. He grabbed Marle long before she reached the 
ground and held her up straight.
	"What just happened?" Lucca asked.
	"I believe I can explain." Magus spoke, his dark, scratchy voice said as he 
looked at the fainted Marle.
	"Please do." Luna said still angry.
	"It all began so long ago..."

**Silver Millenium**

	"At long last there is a peace in our fair kingdom." Queen Serenity said to 
her audience. A dark flash interrupted the festivities. Magus dropped down 
from no where, severely injured.
	"Someone please aid this man." The Queen said.
	"I shall your highness."
	"Thank you Beryl. I appreciate your hospitality."

**Present**
	"You trusted Queen Beryl? Why?" Sailor Moon asked incredulously.
	"How was I to know what she was up to. That came later."
**Silver Millenium**

	"Why would I join you, Madame." Magus said politely. "I am in debt for your 
kindness in allowing me to stay, but I truly have no reason to become 
involved in your petty squabbles."
	"Petty squabbles?" Beryl shrieked, "this is for dominion over the universe, 
you imbecile."
	"I have tried my hand at world domination. Someone always gets in the way. 
I reiterate: Why should I help you?"
	"I know where Schala is." Beryl grinned in an evil fashion.
	"Schala? Is she all right?" Magus immediatly became concerned.
	"Oh yes, such a lovely lass she is too." Beryl said as her grin grew wider.
	"If I join you, do I get to see her?"
	"Most definatly."
	"I will then." Magus said standing.
	"Jedite! Come here and show our new recruit to his place."
**Present**
	"Were you really that gullible?" Moon said looking disapprovingly at Magus.
	" I would have believed anything if I thought it would get Schala back to 
me." Magus said, "Not that you understand."
**Silver Millenium**
	The day of the attack finally arrived. There was resistance naturally. I 
still hadn't seen Schala so I decided that day that I would change my idea 
and help the Moon Kingdom.
	"Out of my way!" Magus said as he pushed a monster to the side. The thing 
glared at him but, after seeing his gray uniform, it moved aside.
	"Where are you going!" A tall brown haired man in the same gray uniform 
demanded.
	" Where ever I feel like, Tetronite. Go whine to Jedite. I am out of here." 
Magus said. He jumped away from the fierce melee, soaring quickly over 
soldiers of the Moon Kingdom as easily as those of the Nega-verse.
	"Come back here traitor!" Tetronite shouted. His protests were lost into 
the fierce battle.
	Magus cast a spell and vanished into the time stream.

**Present**
	"After you killed countless Moon soldiers." Luna growled.
	"It was a war. People die. It happens." Magus said indifferently.
	"Luna let it go." Sailor Moon said in a rare moment of seriousness. "He 
didn't mean any harm to us. He simply followed orders."
	"Could it be she has finally grown up?" Mars said.
	"Owchies, my head." Serina grabbed at it. "Brain cramp." She explained.
	"Guess not." Mars said holding in a laugh.

**???**
	"Mistress the traitor Magus has been informing them. I fear he has brought 
a new ally to the Scouts."
	"Prevent this Tetronite. Stop him at all costs.
**Tokyo**

"Crono? Wha happened?" Marle said as she recovered from the fit.
"Relax, Marle, it is time for my power to come forth." Magus pulled a 
pendant that looked almost the same as Schala's but with an Onyx instead. 
"Stone of the Hero's Destiny, I beseech you reveal to Marle her role for 
this line." He said raising it into the air.
A huge glowing aura began to encircle Marle. The glow became brighter and 
brighter. The Pendant in Magus' hand began to glow in rhythm with Marle's 
aura. A beam of light shot out from the stone, infusing Marle with its 
power. The light began to dim as the aura faded. Magus returned the stone to 
its place and looked at Marle.
"Oh what a rush!" Marle shouted joyfully. A bright flash appeared on her 
forehead. The Scouts gathered in close to see what it was. " What happened?" 
Marle asked. A glowing trident flared into being in the center of her 
forehead.
"Sailor Neptune?" Luna said incredulously. "How?"
"Who?" Marle asked confused.
"NO!!!" A resounding deep voice shouted. "This must end now!"Tetronite dove 
in slashing at the newly discovered Sailor Neptune with a long two-handed 
broadsword.
"Stop Tetronite." Magus said calmly as he blocked the slashes with his 
scythe. " She is under my protection. Go tell Specter that her end is near." 
Magus waved at the man and sent him back to Specter's chamber.
Marle suddenly found herself by a bunch of people who were over joyed to 
meet her.
"Welcome to the team." Sailor Mercury said.
	"Yeah." The others agreed.
	Marle did the only thing she could think of at that point. She fainted dead 
away.
	"Does she always faint so much?" Jupiter said to Lucca.
