Yeah, I suppose it is. Partly just because this particular storyline was
well suited to it, and partly because I was kinda unhappy with the state
of comedy fics on the ML. There's stuff that people consistently praise
as funny that doesn't make me laugh at all. So rather than say "This
isn't funny!" I set out to write something that I thought *would* be.

 If so, I'd call it a success.
