I dunno. I heard "toy". Matisse/Surge is a bit of a chauvanist, as seen from
his greeting.( "Welcome to Vermillion Gym!" *hugs Kasumi/Misty*) He's
showing the generally held belief in the Pokemon world that Pikachu are weak
and are only good against weak creatures and as pets. (See "School of Hard
Knocks") Of course, Satoshi/Ash has used it so many times that it's level is
probably very high, and is definitely more than just a useless toy.
