Part 1 : I Choose Her!

The fic was a rather nice read. I can definitely get used to the name
Ashley, but Misto and Garina I'm having a bit more trouble getting
used to. I would suggest with going along with Lurker's suggestion of
Rain. Cloud will make me think of a certain 'other' person :)

Rain sounds cool, but there was already a guy called "Rainer" in the canon
anime series. Hmmm ... yeah and Cloud will turn this fic into a crossover =P


It'd be

nice if you changed the dialogue a lil bit more though. It's kinda
like reading an alternate Ranmafic where the first introduction is
almost written verbatim to the manga or anime. Adding a bit of
variation is nice.

Perhaps if I come up with other silly ideas when I revise it. I'll admit I
was lazy for some of the dialogue, but what can you expect, I just wrote it
on a whim on my break (yeah, excuses, excuses ^_^;;).

I liked the part with Ashley saying she had more

'talent' :)

Concerning Misto.....I really hope you don't have him tagging along
with Ashley because he wants her to replace his motorcycle. A guy
won't be like that......that much. It'd be cool if you have it where
he's following her, saying that he wants her to pay him back, but in
reality, he could care less and just wanted to be near her.

"Okay, if you date me, then I'll forget about the fact that you
wrecked my motorcycle,"

"Date you?! No way!!" Ashley replied, "I'd rather pay you back for the
motorcycle than date someone like you,"

"Fine," Misto smirked, "Then I'm gonna follow you until you do,"

"Argh!!!"

Exactly what I was thinking! After all, in the anime, it's kind of obvious
that Misty isn't *really* following Ash for the bike.

Eg. In the 2nd ep, it went like this when she first came up with the excuse:

ASH: What are you following us for?!?
MISTY: Uh, my, my bike! You're.. resbonsible - for my bike!
(when she says this she's all nervous and stuttery and gets a sweatdrop)

and see that the Ash & Misty couple is the most popular anime couple on the
net. Or at least it's probably the most popular ^_^;;

Btw, have some of you seen some of the couples people voted for? I laughed
my head off when I saw the Happosai and Akane couple. Bahahahah! (Sorry
Akane fans =P)

It'd be a shame if you have Misto acting toward Ashley like Misty acts
toward Ash in the anime. Since the role of Misty is being played by a
male, the interactions should be very different.

And yes they are. For one thing, a guy would be much more aggressive. Misty
in the anime, is like, just waiting for something to happen (at least I
think so). While if the genders were reversed, I'd think she would just go
out and say exactly what she thinks.

I can't really say much along the lines of the actual Pokemon story
because I know very little about this series. I've only seen about
five episodes. Thankfully, it was the first five or so to the
series....

You should see more of it. Some of the later episodes are *ridiculously*
funny. And cool too ...
