The various strategy guides capitalize the names of the Pokemon
regardless of whether is identified as an individual or part of a
group.  They also captialze the types as well.  eg. Grass Pokemon, Rock
Pokemon.  Electric type.  You get the idea. 

Capitalising everything makes things a *lot* easier.  As for Poke ball being
2 words. That's right. In the game it's listed as POKE BALL. And in this
Pokemon Power comic I got, it also separates the words. At least I got that
part canonically correct =P
