Hiya all. :)
I've been working (honest!) on my fanfics, trying out new ideas on
some others, filing body lines, er... nevermind.
Anyway, what it amounts to is I've got a bunch of scenes that I had
ideas for, that I've decided either not to use or that were for
ill-concieved notions (back, spawn of Satan! Back!). Technically, I'm not
sure if this is spam or not. Nor am I sure if it counts as an Idea, really.
But I'm tossing this stuff out, a bit at a time as I root them out, and if
you feel like running with these, or are inspired by them (yaright), or even
want to use them in your own fics, go ahead.
If not, enjoy. Most of the ones I've found so far have been
humorous scenes. :)
If you want to C&C, go ahead, I guess. I'm not doing anything with
these, though, so... ;)

Scenes From the Cutting-Room Floor
Bucket One
----------------------------------
(This one was originally intended for a crossover between
Looney Tunes and Ranma [never really started]. And yes, this scene
in particular was inspired in part by Disney's _Mulan_.)
Genma was knocked flat by the force of the explosion, although
he was out of the actual blast itself. He jumped back to his feet
and ducked around the corner, ready for anything.
Ranma was a smoking heap, a crater around him testament to the
effectiveness of the explosive, whatever it had been. Genma rushed
to his son's side, eyeing the boy for injuries. While there were
definitely some broken bones, there didn't seem to be any
life-threatening injuries, and Genma started to relax. He noticed
Ranma trying to say something, but he couldn't make out what. He
leaned closer.
"A... a... akane..." Ranma gasped. One eye was swollen shut,
but the other was open wide and staring past Genma's shoulder.
Genma turned to see what the boy was looking at.
A scorched Akane was clinging desperately to the tip of a
teetering flagpole. The base of the pole was mostly shattered,
with only a few strips of metal holding it to the side of the
building. Too much motion, and it would come crashing down.
For once Genma didn't panic. Glancing quickly around the street,
he noticed a large, blackened crate near the edge of the crater.
"Explosives" and the word "Acme" were stamped on the side in
indelible red ink. Genma wasted no time ripping the top off, and
smiled at the sight revealed therein. Large rockets, each easily
capable of lifting a small person, lay stacked inside. Genma grabbed
three of them and bundled them together, then tied them on his back.
Turning, he saw Ranma struggling painfully back to his feet. Genma
strode over to the boy and handed him a match. While Ranma eyed the
match in confusion, Genma turned again and aimed himself at the
still-hysterical Akane. He glanced back over his shoulder.
"Light me, boy!"

(A scene most thankfully cut from American Vacation, before I
decided to leave most of the cast at home in Nerima.)
"Ah, 'tis the beauteous Cindy Crawford! I would date with thee!"
Kuno said, bowing low before the startled supermodel.
"Security!" Cindy cried, backing away from the frenetic gleam
in Kuno's eyes. She eyed the nonsense-spouting loon apprehensively.
Four large, husky men in tight-fitting black t-shirts and jeans
strode forward menacingly. Kuno eyed them with something that would
have been contempt, had he respected them that much.
"Vile cretins. So you seek to keep yon fair flower away from my
arms? Behold the wrath of Tatewaki Kuno, the Blue Thunder of
Furinkan High!"
"Get a load of dis guy, Guido."
"Yeah, he thinks he's some sorta karate expert or sumthin'.
Heh heh. Oh, look, he's got a toy swo- aAAAAIEE!!"
Kuno strode forward, bokken flashing. In mere seconds he had
laid flat all four security guards and had sheathed his weapon.
Cindy was desperately clawing at the door, heedless of the rabid fans
- which she would have normally avoided like the plague - beyond
the locked entrance. As Kuno advanced, mouthing romantic nonsense
and holding out his arms in entreaty, she began slumping in defeat,
finally ending up crouched against the door.
"Yo, Kuno!" a voice cried from the other end of the hall. Kuno
snapped upright, and turned.
"Behold! It IS the fire-haired goddess herself! Oh, the sweet
raptures I shall bestow upon thee! Come, let us -"
"Catch me if you can, Kuno!" Ranma-chan cried as she spun around
and took off. <Damn that Kuno!> she thought. <He's gonna get ALL of
us in trouble!>
Kuno stared after the girl, blinking. "Oho! The maiden wishes
to play! Well, Tatewaki Kuno is willing to play her game! Tally
ho!" With that, he took off down the hall after the fleeing
Ranma-chan.
Cindy sat there, blinking in surprise. Finally, some measure
of composure regained, she returned to her feet and started wobbling
down the hall towards her dressing room.
"Tourists," she muttered. "Feh."
