Well, just wanted to thank those of you who participated in C&Cing
a few of the fanfics our group posted here over the years. It's
been sometime since our last status report, so I'll break it
down for you.

GROUP MEMBERS

We're all healthy, very happy with our well structured lives,
and moving forward with a positive, can-do attitude.
Take notes, people. ;)

Lou Barnes: Our group leader is currently in-between jobs and looking
at schools in Florida. As such, Bubblegum Chaos has been put on
indefinite hold for now and our intended release on the FFML has
been delayed for what seems to be most of the summer. As soon
as I get the rest of his episodes, I'll parcel 'em up and deliver
'em at a reasonable rate. C&C for Bubblegum Chaos should come
directly to me.

Andy Breitweiser: Currently doing a lot of work as a corporate
salesman. Horabue 23 never saw the light of day, and I don't
think it's ever going to start up again. His contributions to
the Robotech fanfic projects notwithstanding, this member of
the group has taken leave for now. We hope he'll come back
eventually, but we wish him luck.

Nick Van Hage: Currently in the Navy, thinking about reupping
as a Marine in one and a half years. Contact is limited,
but his help on these projects have moved the AMDG forward
significantly.

Paul Denafrio: Going to school at Buffalo, but may be back
home for Spring Break. Met up with him and the Posse
at a party during my visit back home, but we kept business
out of it. Let's hear it for booze, women, and Channel 64!

Presley H. Cannady: Well, I'm up at MIT for the summer,
working on "Project for Military Innovation" with Professor
Sapolsky of the MIT Security Studies Program. We'll
be putting together a consortium on organization and
innovation theory as pertinent to military affairs with
participants from all over the world: serving officers,
War College professors and even Israeli security analysts.
I don't have much time for writing scenic treatments these
days, but I would personally like to thank a number of
you: Christopher DiNote (good luck, AF ;>), William M.
Dix, Daniel Hanneld, David Johnston, Matt Johnston, Sean
Connor, Nicholas Leifker, and many more.

PROJECTS:

Don't expect much soon, but we're currently working on
finishing up Liars and Dreamers and Separate Paths
this year, our two massive Robotech novels. Additionally,
I hope to continue on with my anti-BGC fic, Benediction
Hymn (of the Bubblegum Casualty/Bubblegum Chaos project)
with two additional chapters by the end of next
fall term. My personal priorities lie not only in the RT
fanfics, but two original pieces of SF, "Sweetness Rendered
in a Light Sea Grey Cyberhue" and "the Unenviable Fate
of Lieutenant Commander Reid." I am unsure as to when
I'll actually get to these, but I assure you they will go
forward.

Holding Projects: Call To Arms, an original fic, and the
three part novelization of EYES of Mars will be placed on
indefinite hold for the time being. We're overloaded
and currently Lou and I are the only ones writing. Since
even that's becoming more and more difficult as reality
catches up with us, we have to slow down and put some of
these seemingly dead projects on hold for the time being.
Also on hold: Kungfoolery, Raven's Dew, Ravenworld and
Valkyrie Seed.

Technical issues: I'll be providing a compedium for the
Robotech project as soon as we finish compiling it. It
was consist of a number of essays, fact sheets, and
a lot of fan art (once I get these schematics and other
visual treatments scanned). We may produce a technical
supplement for Bubblegum Casualty and Chaos, depending
on how it all goes.

Upcoming Projects: Lou and Andy wanted to do a fic
called "America," a mock look into the world of entertainment
fanatics. Since we all have a common interest in
Asian entertainment, we decided to focus on the
impact of overseas media on its associated American
fandom. Prepare to be offended.

Impetus, the latest installment of the Robotech IV:
The Odysseus Epic ssga, is currently in its pre-writing
stage. Ever since we finished the story arc last
June, the progress on all the books, including this
newest addition to the project folder, has
accelerated exponentially.

My own mock looks into fandom, "We Don't Need No Stinking
Forks," "The Discerning Otaku, and "Out of Line" will release
early this fall. If possible, Andy and I will try to merge
this project into America; it seems very unlikely that will
happen, however. Both stories have very divergent themes
and presentation philosophies.

Well, that's it for now. Once again, thanks to our
readers. After five years in the making, you folks have
done more to help us move this thing forward than you
could ever possible appreciate.
