Hello. This is a product of unbelieveable boredom (ok,
maybe not unbelieveable.. I have seen what some of you
guys have written ~_^) and is a creative outlet for my
overwhelming sense of something unamed.... Anyway,
this is about the different types of fanfiction that
we see here on the FFML. Enjoy.

*ahem*
::someone starts brushing a cymbal with a metal whisp,
and someone taps some bongos. Then, yet another
someone starts twanging an electric guitar... there, I
have set the setting...oh wait, the saxaphone player
just ran in ::shouts:: YOU'RE LATE!!::
:::A person concealed in shadow walks out onto the
stage which has just appeared, along with a bunch of
tables, drinks, and even an audience!! He/She sits
down on a stool next to the microphone onstage, and
the lights come up. It is a woman wearing jeans and a
T-shirt, sunglasses, and a weird little floppy hat.
She starts to speak:::
"Oh, the frequent use of message flags,
upon the title of our fic,
can be confusing, horrid gags,
that make the reader very sick.
We sit alone at our desks,
tables, even countertops,
our faces cold unfeeling masks...
at least, until the fiction stops.
Sometimes we write in fits of depression,
torturing characters with our own sorrow...
then after that it becoms an obsession,
We write in the hopes of a better tomorrow.
We spend all day and even night,
posting on the FFML,
we stare into our screens so bright,
and read the horrid spam from hell.
This is for Newbies
who need a translation
of those wierd little flags
that can cause irritation:
::takes a sip of water::
[LEMON] fics are pretty sick,
not for those under twenty one...
The scenes of sex can make some tick...
or some, perhaps, become a nun.
[LIME] fics are kind of sweet,
With not much action going on..
with loving eyes and unclad feet,
(The [LEMON] replies with a yawn.)
[WAFFy] fics are soft and gentle,
Lighting hopeless lovers' way...
Of course, for some, it makes them mental,
And mail un-opened it will stay.
[DARK] fics are sad and dreary,
sometimes scary, sometimes not.
We stay up 'til our eyes get bleary,
and irritated by that blasted spot!
[FUNNY] fics can be light and fun,
insanity rules where logic is gone,
sometimes it's that one great pun
that sets us reading 'til the dawn.
[SPAM] fics aren't fics at all,
mostly e-mails with no plot...
Of course, with some we have a ball...
but only those of the silly lot.
[IDEA] fics are usually small,
only a 'graph or few, at most,
Suggesting ideas for one and all,
(and hoping that someone'll read their post)
[ONESHOT] fics are short, you see,
a cute little story for all to enjoy!
But then there are those that are bad as can be!
(and those are the ones that can truly annoy.)
And so, for all those newbies here,
I wrote this guide for flaggy codes,
I hope this message came out clear,
shining, in your mail abodes.

flames will be read, evaluated, and if they don't meet
the guidlines for HFFR (Hurt-Feeling Free Responces),
they will be returned to the sender, deleted from my
mailbox, and I will put the sender's name on my list
of mean people whose life I need to ruin when I am
famous....... maybe not. I hope everyone had fun. I
know I did.
