Well, People have been talking about Unusual crossovers/fusions, So, I
decided to share this with the list in general... C&C is greatly desired...
Sailor Pan (A Solar Side story)
Notes, Comments, and Disclaimers:
(Yeah right, like anyone every really reads this stuff!!!)
This is one of the more unusual types of fiction out there. To be
blunt, its a work of fiction derived from characters developed for a
piece of Fan Fiction. Fan Fiction in turn uses characters from a TV
series as the basis for their own story, which makes this a fanfic of a
fanfic (and does that mean that now Im my own Grandpa?)
Now that I have you TOTALLY confused, on to the meat of the issue.
Bluntly, none of the actual characters portrayed here are mine. Most
of the major characters are the property of the esteemed creator of
Sailor Moon, Naoko T. In addition, rights to the show itself are
spread about among Bandai, DIC, and a couple of others who escape me.
Those that arent were created by Ryan Priem, AKA
Wolfbyte000@Yahoo.com. The situations arent really mine either, but
are taken from a work by J.M.Barrie, and were further modified by a
certain very large Mickey Mouse corporation who has gained a bad
reputation in later years of rabidly defending its characters images
The only characters used by Permission are Wolfbyte's.
I personally shant try to say where this story belongs in Wolfies
continuity of stories, cause thats his job. Overall, though, it takes
place AFTER most of the major stories involving Solar (Up through
Fractured Suns) and BEFORE the events of Children of Fire and Light.
Wolfie also gets equal credit for the creation of this piece, since the
initial idea came from a conversation I had with him one night, and
hes provided a whole pot full of information about those of his
characters that are used in the story. Those of you who have never
read his works, go to Tales from Sailor Moons Universe.
Thanks are also in order for both Wolfie, for letting me run with this
admittedly silly idea and being patient when I wasnt getting ANYWHERE
with it, and for the various members of the TFSMUs mailing list, who
served as my valiant pre-readers. Also thanks go out to my loving
fiance and assorted other relatives, who have been tolerant of my love
of writing in general, and were also kind enough not to say I was nuts
for working so hard on this project. Thanks are also in order for you,
the reader, for deciding to read this, and double thanks if youve
actually stuck with me through all these preliminaries instead of
jumping straight to the heart of the fic.
So on that note ROLL FIC!!!

Prologue:
OK, everyone, lets play outside for a while and give Aunt Raye a
break! Jason shouted to the assembled party goers. In response, seven
young boys and girls yead in response and tore out of the room into
the afternoon sunshine with the energy of the young who had just
consumed massive amounts of sugar.
In the wake of their departure, Raye Hino, Wife of Jason Hino, Mother
of Rylla and Fierin, and Sailor Mars, closed her eyes and enjoyed the
silence. Today was the twins fifth birthday, and while from the
childrens point of view it had been a rousing success, from a
housekeepers point of view the living room of the living quarters
behind the Temple on Cherry Hill was, to put it bluntly, a disaster
area. Paper plates with leftover cake and ice cream lay everywhere,
along with scraps of torn wrapping paper from the twins presents.
Even in this, the different personalities of the twins showed. Rylla,
though excited, carefully unwrapped each present without shredding the
paper, and placed the used wrapping paper aside for later disposal.
Fierin, on the other hand, had effectively reduced the wrappings on his
gifts to little pieces of multi-colored confetti; his unwrapped
presents strewn about where he had been sitting.
As Raye gathered the party debris into a trashbag, she reflected on how
their favorite gifts reflected on the twins emerging personalities.
Rylla was most excited by the gift from Charlie Anderson and his
mother; a large book called The Way things Work and its accompanying
computer CD. Fierins had been the new Ranma action figure complete
with Kung Fu grip, courtesy of Brett Tenoh. She wasnt quite sure
what to make of that, but then again she was probably reading far too
much into it.
She straightened as she heard the shoji(1) behind her slide open, and
then closed again. Instead of the expected childs voice asking her
for directions to the bathroom, her husbands warm arms encircled her
from behind and drew her close. Sighing softly, she snuggled back in
his embrace for a long moment before pulling away. I love you too,
dear, she noted as she started collecting party debris again, but you
really should be out there keeping an eye on the guests.
You worry to much, dear, Jason replied. Raye didnt need to turn to
see that lopsided smile of his, she could hear it in his voice. The
only guests on the grounds are the kids. What could possibly go
wrong?
Fate of course, responded to the challenge immediately. As if on cue,
the sounds of children shouting and screaming mixed in with the raucous
cawing of the temple crows filled the air. You had to ask, didnt
you, dear, Raye observed as the two adults sprinted towards the
courtyard.
In the courtyard between the living quarters and the shrine proper were
the children, surrounded by a flock of irate crows, lead by Sol, the
largest crow at the shrine. Charlie was trying to shield something in
his arms, Brett was swinging wildly at the swooping birds, and Fierin
was trying to get Sol to back off. No sooner than Raye and Jason
entered the courtyard than Rayes crows Phobos and Demios settled on
her shoulders. Each gave a loud caw at the circling birds, as if
peremptorily issuing orders; an effect heightened by the other crows
wheeling and leaving the scene. Only Sol remained, and settled down
onto Fierins shoulder.
Thanks for the save there, Charlie, Artemis said as he hoped down
from the young boys arms. It would have been painful without you.
Would someone PLEASE explain what is going on here? Raye demanded,
her temper beginning to show.
That over-pampered garbage disposal with wings over there, the white
moon cat explained, his glare at Fierin indicating Sol as the culprit,
decided my tail looked like a nice fat worm.
Bett not wanna hep, so I rescud, Charlie added helpfully, while
Brett tried to adopt an air of injured innocence.
An Sol thought he was unna attack, Rylla added, shooting a poisonous
glance at her brother.
OK then, Jason declared, noting Rayes I told you so look.
Everyone back inside. I know just what we all need at the moment!
Though the assembled children seem crestfallen at that decision, they
obediently followed Jason back into the living room. Raye remained
behind a moment with Artemis.
But why are you here, Artemis? the scout of mars demanded of the moon
cat.
Uhh. Well.. Artemis began to blush.
MiriaisgoingthroughahugthecatphaseandIkindawantedtogetsomepieceand
quiet he finally stammered.
So you came here, Raye noted, her tone less than sympathetic.
Well, I kinda thought that with all the kids over for the party the
crows would decide to go elsewhere till they left, the moon cat
observed bashfully. Guess I was wrong, huh?
Rayes look answered that without any need for words. So, her decision
caught Artemis by surprise. Come on inside, Artemis. You can catch a
nap till the kids are ready to go home, she declared as she slid the
shoji open. Inside, the children were all camped out on the floor with
their attention fixed on the TV where a movie was just starting.
Behind them, Jason was quietly picking up the debris from the party.
As Raye moved to start picking things up herself, Jason intercepted
her. You look beat, dear, he noted in a whisper. Sit down and rest
for a bit. Ill clean up. Raye started to object, but something in
Jasons eyes changed her mind. Nodding in agreement, she sat down on
the sofa behind the kids, a wave of exaustion suddenly sweeping over
her.
Peter Pan, huh? she noted to herself as she began to drop off to
sleep. Thats appropriate. Sometimes Jason acts like he never grew
up either

traditional buildings like shrines and the like.
