Switch to Times New Roman Font for easiest visibility.

My current font is -*-fixed-*-*-normal-*-12-20-*-*-*-*-iso8859-*, and
xfontsel doesn't known about 'Times New Roman'. Sorry.

To do this in Note
Pad click on edit then set font. Scroll down to Times New Roman and Click
okay. Also make sure that Notepad>Edit>Word Wrap is checked. Copies of
this file are also available in .doc format (MS Word Format)

This is a mailing list. Posts should be made in the 'lowest common
denominator' so that everyone can read them. This usually means good old
text/plain, ASCII format (much like this message), no pretty fonts and so
forth.

Everyone's mail program is able to deal with this format, and it would be
expected that everyone is competent enough in the use of their own mail
program *not* to require instructions on how to read the message.

In fact, providing instructions on how to open a message in 'Notepad' is
rather demeaning, and indeed, useless to that large number of people who
do not use Microsloth products (ie, there is no program 'notepad' on my
system).

At least you haven't actually sent your fic out in MS-WOrd format, as
MS-Word is certainly not 'lowest common denominator', is certainly not an
'official' 'standard' for transmitting text documents around the Internet,
and is also rather dependent on which version of MS-Word both parties have
as previous versions of MS-Word have trouble reading the output of later
versions of MS-Word.
