"Okay, now on to Ryu versus Gara." C-chan declared, her right eye
twitching dangerously.
"Hello, room service? Yeah, I'm going to need a tub of Jell-o sent
to Miss Arisugawa's room. Courtesy of.... hmmmm, Urd. Oh, and charge it
tooooooooooo Thor Odinson." ????? said.
????? zipped out of the room.

        ****** ****** ****** ****** ******

The audience began hearing the song "The Beginning is the End is the
Beginning" by the Smashing Pumpkins as Ryu entered via the blue doors. He
walked down the ring, stopping occasionally to wave or sign an autograph
despite himself. He leapt into the ring and tightened his belt as he stood
ready for his opponent.
"Enter the Tekken" the ending song for Tekken 3 began playing.
Smoke suddenly appeared from one side of the arena. After it disappeared
into the opposite side of the arena, Gara was seen kneeling on one knee,
with his back toward his opponent and his right hand was gripping the sheath
of his sword. Beside him stood his escorts, Dark Schneider on the right,
Arshes Nei on the left. Gara got up, feet together, and raised the sheath
above his head. Slowly, he removed the sword it's casing. The Marasame
gleamed as the lights of the room struck it in that ultra-cool fashion. He
threw away the sheath and turned around, his sword in his right hand. Gara
grinned at his opponent.
Ryu glared back. Marvin took Robo's bet. Shao Khan finished his
Snapple and started on a Wendy's frosty diary.
"AAAAAAGGGGGHHH!! BRAIN FREEZE!!" Shao Khan yelped as he clutched
his head.
The fighters leapt at each other, Ryu dodging the Marasume blade and
hitting Gara with a Shoryuken, followed by a Shinku Hadoken, sending the
Ninja Master flying backwards. Or so Ryu thought. Ryu barely dodged in
time as Gara slashed at him from behind. Ryu got Gara with a spring
sidekick to the jaw, sending the Ninja against the ropes.
The Ninja Master slashed Ryu's leg off at the knee. Only to get a
Shinku Hadoken point-blank. Gara growled as he watched his sword clatter to
the ground behind him, outside of the ring, his right arm attached. He
leapt at Ryu managing to stand on his one good leg and powering up for
another blast. Gara did what he could. He grabbed Ryu's dismembered leg
and threw it at Ryu, catching the martial artist off-guard.
Gara seemed to vanish, but when Robo appeared in front of Gara's arm
and Marasume and held out an arm to stop something, it became apparent as to
where he was.
"I'm afraid that if you leave the ring, you will be disqualified."
Robo told the invisible Gara.
Gara cursed the robot as Ryu powered up and blasted him out of the
ring. At least he landed in the lap of a cute anime girl, who would later
fall in love with him and they would have little baby ninja boys and girls.
"That is a disgusting thing to watch." Arshes Nei said.
"Yeah, let's go get Yohko and do it 'til sunrise." Dark Schneider
suggested.
"Oh, Darshe..." Arshes said, hugging the ultra-mage.
"Dammit! Why do my Shinku Hadokens always seem to do that whenever
I use them to finish off an opponent and yet I can't get a girlfriend that's
near my age?!?!" Ryu demanded angrily.

        "That's something I don't think I'll touch with a ten foot pole."
C-chan said.
C-chan turned around to make sure no one else was in the announcer
booth, then pulled out a rifle magazine and unfolded the two yard long
centerfold.
        "Ooooooooh baby...." C-chan drooled.
Then, C-chan noticed the camera was still on.
"Ummmm, onto the fight between Onna-Ranma Saotome and Kim Kapwan."
C-chan declared.
        She resumed her drooling.

        ****** ****** ****** ****** ******

Pat Benatar's song "Fire and Ice" began playing over the speakers.
Kim Kapwan, his wife and his two kids walked down to the ring. Kim leapt
into the ring and shot his family a thumbs-up.
"One Winged Angel", Sephiroth's final theme from FFVII played
hauntingly. As Onna-Ranma entered the ring, the crowd is awed by her beauty.
With her, she carried an aura of darkness that can't be seen with the eyes
yet is clearly there. To some, it only made her that much more beautiful.
She emotionlessly swept her eyes across the crowd, then turned the
soul-piercing gaze to her opponent. Nodding, she acknowledged the last
minute information about her opponent from Nabiki and assumed a ready
position.
Syithe, Nabiki and Marvin the Martian stood in her corner.
Although, Marvin got distracted by the discussion by Marvin the Robot and
Robo. The Martian shuffled over to the two robots and began exchanging
opinions on robots vs. androids.
"AAAAAAAH-ACHOO!!" Shao Khan sneezed, having caught a cold from the
frosty diary.
Kim leapt at Onna-Ranma only to find that she was already gone. He
spun around in time to block a vicious kick. He replied with a series of
lightning fast kicks. She dodged with ease and vanished again. Kim leapt
into the air to try and find her. Only to get kicked down to the mat.
Onna-Ranma descended on him, but he rolled out of the way and managed to
catch her with a solid side kick to her left kidney. She stumbled,
clutching her kidney. Kim leapt at her, launching another series of
lightning fast kicks.
Onna-Ranma staggered as she felt the kicks, but something within her
filled her with energy. She blocked Kim's remaining kicks and slammed him
into the mat. She followed it with a shiatsu strike to his left shoulder
blade, disabling his legs. She rolled him over and pinned him under her
foot. At the count of three, victory was hers.

        "Wow. She's fast." C-chan commented.
She looked left and right. Suddenly, someone slipped into the tower
and sat down next to her.
        "A-kun!" C-chan said, surprised.
"Hey. I would've been here earlier, but the some of the fighters
that already lost are leaving." A-kun said.
"Do you know where ????? went?" C-chan asked.
"No, but during the break, I could look for her." A-kun said.
"Thanks for coming up here. It's a little awkward just making
comments to myself." C-chan said.
"No problem. Well, everyone, those are all the fights for today.
I'm A-kun." A-kun began.
"And I'm C-chan saying 'Good Fight'..." C-chan continued.
        "And 'Good Night.'" A-kun finished.
        "That was fun." C-chan said.
        "Wasn't it though?" A-kun inquired.

        ****** ****** ****** ****** ******

"Well, we'll be back again in the future for Round 5, but again,
don't hold your breath." A-kun said.
"Yeah, these things are hard to write, no da." C-chan added.

TO BE CONTINUED IN ROUND 5
