... If you are against all this 'abuse' and stuff, send a letter to
Rumiko Takahashi (if you can find her address) or send one to Viz
video... I don't think that this topic is going to do very much good on
this list, or at least not much will get done. I have heard that this
kind of thing happens once or twice a year, and I guess that is ok,
just a time for people to vent their anger, but I don't think that any
of this should be taken to heart. Nobody should have to be offended or
anything, and I hope that nobody declares war on somebody either.... I
just hope that everyone can get over this relatively quickly, and we
can move on to more intellegent topics.


The reason I am asking this is because I am part of a relatively small
online community centered around one American TV cartoon. Recently,
there has been some conflict over petty things like colors, professions
(for fan characters mostly) and ideas. Also, people have been pouring
their little hearts out to everyone about their "real lives" (whatever
could *those* be? :) and their problems... I mean, right now, one of
our friends is in the hospital due to a "boyfriend". I just hope that
this does not turn out like that.. if it starts to, someone PLEASE nuke
me and be done with it (it has been a trend lately that whatever group
I become a part of starts to deteriorate at an amazing rate...)
