There is actually a reason (which I certainly *hope* is a good reason), 
but I won't be getting to that explicitly for a few more chapters 
(maybe in 2002?).

Frankly,
I'm a little disappointed that "Ranma Monogatari" turns
out to be almost as virginal as "Ranma Transexual Jock".

Having not even heard of "Ranma Transexual Jock," I'm not real sure
how to take this.  But no, no lemon-lime in the near future that I
was planning on.  I could probably make it so, but not without
(IMHO) compromising Ranma's character to do so.  Not that there's
anything wrong with that in a lemon-for-lemon's-sake, but this
ain't that kind of story :P

The cat-psychosis was of course well written, although I'd
expect Ranma to go neko from fighting the fear that hard.

Something I'd thought about... But one cat hasn't generally been 
enough to make him "go neko" (nice turn of phrase, that) except
with extended physical contact; generally, he just goes comatose
or flees.  Of course, the Reikeiden Lady would probably have been
able to... make use of his being comatose :)
