The world you have described to us in the sourcebooks is reminscent of the
RPG Call of Cthulu and Lovecraftian style horror. As a fan of such works, I
think that I wouldn't mind trying my hand at writing some of it. All right,
I'll try to write in this shared universe although some strictures are
rather binding. The most of which is that our stories must feature agents.
Why can't we write stories about the Obessed and their slow spiral into
madness? Or about the crafting of an Intended? An interesting twist would
be writing about an alien who comes to Earth seeking political asylum, a
being trying to find acceptance amoungst a people who would lynch him on
the basis of his physical appearance.

Intended characters:

Team Epsilon

Rebecca Summers
Concept: Obessed-Empath
Empathy: 50
Soothing presence: 50
Notes: Basically, Rebecca yearns to reach out and touch someone. To make
lives
better. The kind of person most people want to meet but not be. She takes
on the burdens of others onto herself voluntarily. She found that she had
the knack for knowing what a person was feeling at a given time and knew
just the right words to say to ease their troubled souls. As a stage three
Obsessed, she would normally be a danger but the Agency found that a person
who was obsessed with helping people was not really a danger to anyone, nor
was she that valuable as an agent. They were wrong. Rebecca may not be a
warrior like many of the other Agents but her very presence was able to
bring a brief moment of peace to even the most battle hardened Agent. One
of the few Agents to be almost universally liked by her peers, the Agency
has found her to be invaluable at gathering information. You'd be surprised
just how much a person would pour out to a friendly, sympathetic ear.

Kage
Concept: Guilt-ridden psychopath
Telekinesis: 75
Psychoportation: 25
Notes: Kage (Japanese for 'Shadow') was once known by a different name. His
moniker deriving from the dark coloured clothes he favours, Kage now does
not respond to any other name. Borderline psychotic, he was deemed too
dangerous to be an Agent and was scheduled for termination. That was before
he met Rebecca Summers. Obviously smitten with the Empathic Agent, he
managed to scape together enough sanity to function more or less as an
effective Agent in the field. He has suffered massive emotional trauma and
has numerous nightmares all pertaining to how he received his telekinetic
powers. The nature of this occurence is a subject he NEVER discusses. His
telekinetic powers seem to manifest as a destructive burst of invisible
energy that is the equivalent of a 90mm shell. The Agency is glad that they
have been able to curb his destructive tendencies somewhat and thus never
had to pick a Team to sacrifice in order to bring him down.

Major Samuel Burke
Concept: Consumate tactician
Inhuman Tactical Acumen: 50
Uncanny Analysis of Situation: 25
Descerning opponent's Tactics: 25
Notes: Major Burke was once the finest of Marines ever produced by the
Academy. A mixture of battle-saavy, combat prowess and iniative meant that
he would eventually be drafted into a Black Ops unit. His Black Ops unit,
accounted one of the best, was dispatched to investigate rumors of odd
occurences in Cairo. They went there to sniff out a trail of queer
phenomenon in Egypt's sands. They didn't find anything, something found
THEM. A monster, alien or whatever it was, snuck into their encampment and
slaughter practically the whole unit before Major Burke could organise a
defense. The terror of this incident Awakened him and he fled Cairo as fast
as his legs could carry him. Written off as dead by his superiors, he was
eventually found and recruited by the Agency. He serves as the leader of
Team Epsilon and has carried on his own personal crusade against the
horrors of the night that had slain his men on the desert sands ever since.

Amelia "Amy" Xanatos
Concept: Daredevil
Reckless bravery: 15
Regeneration: 45
Lady Luck: 40
Notes: Amy was a born hellion. She would do anything on a dare, practically
anything for a thrill. She outsurfed, outraced, outboarded every boy in her
hometown. She lived life in a whirlwind of fun. Until of course that, that
THING that crawled its way out of the ocean and ate her family whole. After
a moment of horrified silence, she picked out a shotgun and blew the thing
to Hell. Since then she's been recruited by the Agency and has volunteered
for nigh-suicidal missions with elan. Her regeneration abilities and
confounding luck has kept her alive in situations where more skilled and
experienced Agents would have perished. She merrily totes a machine gun in
each hand and goes out to smite the enemy a la Quake. Not the most subtle
of Agents, Amy is ideally suited for a combat role.

More to come,
Regards,
Mechamorph
