(Warning: What follows is a semi-rant.)

Okay, frankly I don't understand what the problem 
here is.  The reason that there are so many Ranma 
fics is because a lot of people really like Ranma.  Why shouldn't we
write about what we like?  It's 
not likeRanma authors are forcing others to read 
their stories.  If you don't like the series, or 
are just too sick of so many fics, than don't read them.  It's as
simple as that.  There *are*, in 
fact, quite a number of fics that are about 
different animes.  So instead of complaining about 
how more variety must be introduced to the ffml, 
why not just delete the Ranma fics from your 
mailbox and pay attention to the  other stories?
