Badgering the list about this isn't going to help. The reason there is
so
many Ranma fics is due to the fact that fans of the series feel inspired
enough, be it the characters, the story, the situation... whatever, to
write

a story about it. That's not saying that other series' don't do that as
well, only that one series inspires more than another does.
Instead of complaining about the low number of fics of a particular
series

there is, write it. If there's something you want to see in a fic, write
it.
I'll be cheesy and say, "The Power is Yours!"

Well, I'm one of the people who's writing Ranma fan-fics, and I'd
have to agree here. Ranma Nibunnoichi is my favorite anime, and I enjoy
writing fan-fics (though I haven't finished any...) I *do* write others such
as Slayers and Mermaid Saga, even Fushigi Yuugi, only I haven't had the time
to post it. Also, if you're really sick of Ranma fan-fics, remember that the
flags are there for a reason. Just ignore the fan-fic or delete it. Though
many might object, the end decision is yours and yours alone whether you
choose to read a certain fan-fic or not.
