Manga canon.  The NIT Auto Club LOVES Beemers, because Fujishima-sama seems 
to love them too.  Besides, it's better than having them drive a Honda 
Today...

And other than this reference, I have nothing to say about the Too Much 
Ranma debate because I write Ranma and I'm not the only one who writes 
Ranma.
