I know how it feels. For a while, I gave up on the FFML because I felt my
group of readers were enough. However, they have stopped e-mailing me
C&C, or even comments at all. Now, the FFML is all I have. Rather
ironic...

Ditto here.

I have a fairly good sized pre-reader list, but some of them are a little
lax in giving good feedback and being timely. So, for me, the FFML has
always been a good second draft stage to polish the stories up.

I also have the problem of people only wanting to pre-read my Garden of EVA
series (I've stopped accepting pre-readers who ONLY want to pre-read GofEVA
because of the lack of responses form some pre-readers to my other stuff.

But usually between my pre-readers and FFML I get enough feedback to clean
out the major errors and sometimes put in a good joke or two that presented
itself. I was actually quite pleased with the FFML feedback for CMD15, but
kind of expected it due to the shocking nature of the events.
