Good evening FFML subscribers,

Judging by some of the email I have lately been receiving, I am apparently thought dead by
some folks.  ^_^

This is far from the case, but I thought I'd drop a note to the list to let people know
that chapter nine (entitled "The Rules of Engagement") will be getting posted in the next
couple of days, and that chapter ten (tentatively entitled "Fiancee Follies") is over
halfway done.  This should please the one or two people who might be out there waiting for
the next installment.  ^_^

The delays have been caused by numerous computer snafus, such as the death of my PC's
power supply for a week before it could be fixed, as well as real-life cutting into
writing time for other reasons.  I continue to hope that I will get back into releasing
once every two or three weeks from this point on.  Time will tell if I do it.

As a side note, I recently saw "The Thirteenth Floor" and the device in that movie works
much like the Resonator for how it affects people.  If you were ever curious as to what it
would look like visually, that movie does it much like I was picturing it when I first
started writing this story almost a year ago.
