Taro and Kyoto had made it to the
top of Mt. Muldoon, where the three
priestess' reside.
"Why are we going in here again?"
Taro asked.
"Just to make sure that we're
going in the right direction," answered
Kyoto.
*knock*
*knock*
No answer. Kyoto tried knocking
again and finally got an answer.
A red-headed girl, who appeared
to be around the age of 18, opened the
door. She had tanned skin, wore a
red skirt, and appeared to be angry.
"What do you want," she asked
angrily.
"We just want to know where-"
*BOOOM!!!"
The ground tremored harshly.
"What was that? I guess I better
go find out." And with that, she
ran toward the direction of the noise.
Before they could go after her,
another priestess came out.
"Forgive my comrades rudeness,
but we are very busy," she said calmly.
Her body looked younger than her comrades,
but her face looked more mature and stern.
She wore a forest green top and leggings on
her left leg. The younger had medium
sized shoulder pads and a small cape
attatched to them.
Quite fashionable thought Taro and
Kyoto.
"Please come in," she commanded.
They walked into a large living
room with many doors to the side.
"What did you want to know?"
"Is there a large desert beyond
here?" Taro answered her.
"Yes, there is."
While Taro and the priestess talked to
each other, Kyoto wandered off until he found
a half open door. Curiousity got the best of
Kyoto, and so he dare to venture into one of
the half open door.
What he found was a huge library,
stacked with books from the ground to the
ceiling. Kyoto ventured further and searched
the books. He found one book which was the most
interesting, so he decided he'd take a
souvnenir from the book. It was called
"Immortal Spell Incantations". He stuffed the
book inside his pants.
"What are you doing?"
The voice startled Kyoto. He turned
around to see the woman from before and Taro.
"I was just looking at the books you
have. Well, we must be going now, and I'm
sure that you have better things to do-
"Which I do."
"-so we'll be on our way now."
They walked out the door.
------------------------------------------------
Five minutes before that happened...
All six of the travellers-Ranma, Ryoga,
Alielle, Lita, Makoto, and Mr. Fujisawa [and I
suppose you could count Ura wrapped around
Makoto]-were cornered, but not trapped.
Lita had a white glow, a brown aura surrounded
her body. "Take this!" She flung her fist at
Nephrite, but not intending for it to hit him.
Nephrite was surprised to be attacked
by a huge fist form out of a cliff. "What was
that?! It must be your power that you gained
by coming here, but..." -He wiped blood from his
lip and looked at her with a glare- "You've
mendled in my plans long enough!
"Try to stop this if you can!" He
held up his hand and began to gather energies. He
formed a sphere that blinked black and white.
"Fine!" Lita moved one hand in front of
her chin and the other below her stomach.
The ground started trembling, smalls rocks
spiraled toward the center of the gape between
Lita's hands. A glowing ball of lighning appeared,
growing in shape. It was light brown and had
black/white lightning partially covering it, now,
a large sphere.
Nephrite now had black mist rising from
his body. His eyes were gone, covered by the
glow of black. Ranma and Ryoga could feel the
power of the attack and began to summon their
aura to return fire, should Lita's fail to counter.
But they doubted that, as the tremor grew
worse.
---------------------------------------------
The blue woman silently swore to herself, as
she lift the crossbow from its firing position.
"I can get a clean shot off with all of this going
on! I'll wait for another chance." Silently, she
thought to herself, (WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON
HERE!?!)
---------------------------------------------------
"This is my strongest move! NEGA STAR!!!"
Nephrite threw the huge glowing ball at
Lita. Swirls of dark energy revolved around it.
Lita waited right until the ball was right
in front of her. "EARTH CRAG!!!"
*BOO~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~OOM!!!!!!!*
The gigantic beam burst from its center and forced
the Nephrite's ball backwards until dispersed when
the beam pierced through it. The beam was covered in
lightning, though thousands of small rocks still
spiraled around it. It howled thunder at its target.
The sky turned black, but flashes of lightning lit
up the world. It flew at a blinding speed.
Before Lita could see the results of her
new found power, a portal opened up and
swallowed her. It dissappeared quickly before
anyone even knew what happened.
--------------------------------------------------
Over near the end of the mountain range,
Kyoto necklace glowed. Taro looked at him,
puzzled.
Kyoto shrugged off handedly. "I don't know.
This seems to happen every time we go into one of
those time-space portals. Maybe another portal
opened up." He continued to read the book he stole from
Afura's library.
--------------------------------------------------
Dimension: 11044 : Time Chamber
--------------------------------------------------
Setsuna breathed slowly. (Cool and calm. Be
patient, Setsuna. All you have to do is wait a
bit longer,) she told herself. (You've waited
more than a hundred years before. You can do it
again if you have to.)
She walked slowly to a screen that showed
her what was going on in the Galaxy. The screen
showed Sailor Moon, as the Moon Princess, battling
Queen Beryl-who is now Queen Metallia-and Sailor
Mars, Venus, Mercury, Neptune, and Uranus having
an all out fight against the Nega-Moon Family.
That included Cooan, Beruche, Karaberas, Petz
[The Four Sisters of the Nega-Moon or Ayakashi
Sisters], Rubeus, Esmeraude, and Sapphire who are
fighting with the Sailor Senshi. Prince Diamond
is standing aside, with minor injuries, watching
the fight. Reeney, in her princess outfit,
is trying to control the Imperium Silver
Crystal in her while fighting Wise Man. Prince
Darien is also trying to protect Reeney from
Wise Man.
Setsuna pauses the screen. Her face is
back to her normal emotionless self, though
her brow creases a bit. She laughs bitterly.
"Amazing how all this can happen this way. Queen
Metallia revived herself in Queen Beryls body,
Sailor Jupiter is still in another dimension,
'Small Lady' [or Rabbit in jp] came to the past early
WITHOUT much of my consent, the Nega-Moon
family followed her, and the Aliens that serve
the Doom Tree will be here very soon."
She sighs heavily. "'...to watch over and
protect...' is what Chrono, God of Time, told
me. If I do get enough power to rearrange the
timeline to its original state, will it be the
right thing to do? Is that protecting? Surely,
bringing back Sailor Jupiter is protecting,
but....." Setsuna looks around her chamber full
screens to the Milky Way Galaxy of different times.
"He also told me that for every change or
interferance, a new dimension is made. I'm
already living in a new dimension?"
Her thoughts took her to her memories.
<<^>>
//......but this is a special dimension.
There are some mortal or immortals that carry
the blood of gods. Those few selects
automatically inheret the ability to distort
time. And when they do, a new time-space is
created, a new dimension, for a every new
thing that they change. But they also inheret
an unchangeable destiny or fate that will
only bend to the will of 'Existence' or the
will of the 'Void'. You Sailor Senshi hold the
blood of Gods. But beware, some of your enemies
also hold the blood of Daemons. Whatever happens
will happen, for more or less, have supposed to
of have happened. At least most of the time.
There are some exceptions, as in catalysts who
can change or alter destiny and fate......//

"I suppose......"

Dimension: 129740 : The Magnificient World
-----------------------------------------------
"WHAT!? This can't be!" Nephrite said as
the huge beam sped closer. It smashed through
him at lightning speed, causing an explosion
brown and purple. He fell from the smoke,
unconscious, and toward the ground.
Jinnai growled angrily. "Attack them, you
fools!"
A dozen bugrom started to attack Ranma
and the others. Ranma seemed mad at the
appearence of Lita and attacked with fury.
Ranma and Ryoga fought them back further,
Mr. Fujisawa not far behind.
"Hey! Nephrite! Wake up! Are you all
right?" Jinnai asked.
*BBBZZZZZ!!!*
Jinnai backed up quickly. He awoke with
a start; electricity visibly shocked his body.
"AAHHHHHHHH! AHH!" The shocks stopped.
"Is it finished now? Come on, get up!"
Jinnai grabbed Nephrites burned shirt.
*BBBZZZZZZ!!!*
"AAAHHHHH!!!" Both of them screamed.
"When...will...this...stop!!!?" Jinnai
asked anyone that could hear him.
*BBZZZ!*
A stream of lightning flew from Jinnai
and toward Ranma, Ryoga, and Mr. Fujisawa. When
the next shock came the entire shock engulfed
Ryoga, Ranma, and Mr. Fujisawa.
*BBBBZZZZZZZ!!!*
"Who the-", *BBBZZZ*, "heck is doing
this!" Ranma asked furiously.
"Hey, look! Over there!" Ryoga
pointed out to a stream of lightning that
was connected to them and to something else.
Mr. Fujisawa and Ranma's eyes followed
the lightning beam to its source.
"It's...that Jinnai guy! And...Nephrite!"
Ranma declared.
"Oh no! Look at Makoto and Alielle!"
Mr. Fujisawa yelled.
The bugrom were surrounding them, about
to attack. One of them tried to attack Makoto,
but was smacked away by Ura. Another bugrom
advanced and smack Makoto aside next to
Alielle.
Not far from them, a blue women lay on
a cliff high above. She through the target
piece of the crossbow at Makoto. She centered
it on Makoto's heart.
"Perfect," she said quietly to herself.
Before she could shoot, a rush of
fire over took the bugrom. She cursed herself
for taking so long to fire.
When the fire cleared, it showed the
priestess from before. Her red hair, red top,
red skirt, and temper now showed that she
was the Priestess of Fire. Her gem on her
headband flared with fire, as did her
bracelets.
She smirked at the bugrom. "Heh, get
ready!"
She continued her assault on the
bugrom. A claw gripped her shoulder. She
flung around and kicked the bugrom in the
face. One after another, she threw her
fireballs at the bugrom. Finally, when the
last of the bugrom soldiers was down and
burnt to a crisp, she turned to greet the
ones she had just saved.
*BBBZZZZZZ!!!*
"What the hell?!" She exclaimed.
"Is this some kind of freakin' light show!?"
Several bodies flickered with
lightning. Their bodies were as black as
ash. Makoto and Alielle made the mistake
of coming too close to them and as a result...
"Mr. Fujisawa?! Are you al-"
"Sister Ranma! Are you o-"
*BBBZZZZ!!!*
"OWWY! OWWY! OWWY!" "EEEEEHHH!!!"
Actually, Ura took the shock for
Makoto jumped out of the way for
safety.
The sound of a portal came from
behind the priestess. She turned around
to find her comrade-in-arms. The shocks
mysterious stopped. The victims of the
shocks blinked their wide eyes. They
looked like huge white spots among their
bodies.
"Shayla!" The woman from behind her
greeted. She wore something similiar to
Lita, except her top was a light brown,
had three gems randomly on her clothing,
and wore a large knee pad- similiar to
Shayla's- that pocketed her Earth Lamp,
which she wore right now as a bracelet.
Jinnai, Nephrite, and their gang
chose to sneak away at that moment. The
others were slowly getting up, dusting
off their burnt clothes. Ranma, Ryoga,
Mr. Fujisawa, Alielle, Ura, and Makoto
looked toward the new figures. One of
them looked extremely fimiliar.
Shayla looked at the other
priestess in recognization and embraced
her. They followed Shayla and her
friend to their house, where they
seated in the living room. The
Priestess of Wind also greeted the
other unknown priestess.
Makoto, who had managed to keep
his wig from getting burnt to a crisp,
told them about their problems with
the bugrom. Then Shayla Shayla asked
them why were all shocking like
lightbulbs.
"It's all because of that Jinnai
guy and Nephrite!" Ranma answered
angrily.
"Yeah! When I get my hand on
them...!!!" Ryoga muttered angrily.
All the other shock victims also
agreeded angrily, muttering to themselves
what they would do to them when they
got their hands on Jinnai and Nephrite. Angry
auras of red surrounded all of the shocked
victims. Veins popped out of their necks.
They talked as if someone had just tortured
them.
The other unknown priestess formed a
huge sweat drop on the back of her head and
suddenly turned into super deformed mode. "Umm,
actually, it was me. Lita. I guess my
powers got a little out of hand. Heh, heh..."
"..........."
Their eyes turned to beads as they
blinked them. They relized that they were
babbling about Lita and more sweat drops
appeared, their anger vanished as if it
wasn't even there. Their minds argued on
whether to be angry at Lita or happy that
she returned. Luckily, that choice was made
for them.
"Come on, Lita! We're late for the
priestess ceremony!" Shayla said, walking
out the door with Afura.
"OK!" She ran out the door and let
Afura fly her and Shayla toward their
distination.
Still in SD mode, the whites of
their eyes big, pupils small, sizzling smoke
rose from their heads.
-----------------------------------------
Wind blew up against Kyoto and
Taro's faces. They flew on a better ship
of high quality.
"You know, I hope this stealing thing
doesn't become a habit of yours." Kyoto
said with disdain.
Taro shrugged. "You take what you need,
nothing more."
Kyoto smiled grimly. "All too true.
At least we know this one won't break
down on us."
Taro opened his eyes and looked
towards Kyoto. "How much longer?"
"A day more. Oh, and don't forget
what she was made for. She'll probably
try to trick us or something."
"I have no doubt in that," Taro
agreed, then looked at Kyoto with open
eyes. "I know why I want Kalia, her
knowledge, but why do you need her?"
Kyoto looked upward, scratched
his head and shrugged. "I don't know,
I forgot."
*Face-fault*
"Oh yeah, I remember! I'm looking
for those demon-gods!"
"I know that, but why?"
"'Cause it's said that they can
partially control the 'Eye of God' and
the 'Eye of God' is my ticket back
home." Kyoto went back to reading the
book he stole from Afura's library of
books.
"Still reading that so-called
magic book?" Taro asked, changing the
subject. "Why don't we have a little
sparring match? Let's see if you can
use your so-called 'magic'."
Kyoto saw no reason to decline.
"Fine, but I'm not sure it would be
safe..."
Taro put on his Evil Grin(R).
"Ha! Don't worry! I won't hurt you
TOO badly!"
It was Kyoto's turn to grin.
"We'll see. Ready?" Kyoto asked, while
gently putting the book aside.
Taro nodded, still grinning.
"Go. You attack first with one of your
spells. See if it does anything!" He
stood standing in front of Kyoto casually.
"Fine." Kyoto began the incantation
by raising his hand to the sky. The air
suddenly spired up at Kyoto feet. He began
casting the magic spell. "Source of all
power, crimson fire burning bright!"
He cupped his hands in a ball. A magical
sphere of flaring yellow energy appeared.
"Let thy power gather within my hand!
Fireball!!!" The sphere was filled with
a flaring yellow ball. Kyoto threw it
like a baseball at Taro.
Taro tried to block the ball with
his arms. The Fireball rammed into him
with devastating heat. He was left
burning but the fire slowly disappeared
when his chi aura put it out. "That
hurt you know!" He yelled at Kyoto
angrily.
Kyoto smirked at him. "Too bad
Pantyhose! I told you this wasn't no
parlor trick."
Taro glared Kyoto for calling him
his real name. He burst out of the dust
with blinding speed and began his attack.
Taro smashed his leg into Kyoto's side,
then kick him in the face. Kyoto fell
a few feet backwards.
He quickly regained balance, but
was immediately met by a fist. Kyoto
blocked as fast as he could, trying to
get out of the fury Taro's punches.
Kyoto was getting hit more than he blocked.
Changing strategies, Kyoto grabbed one
of Taro's incoming punches. Momentum
was on Kyoto's side as Taro tripped
foward at his grasp. Kyoto swung his
fist at Taro's face, then followed up
with a sweep. Taro fell to the ground
but got up as quickly as he fell.
Taro wiped blood from his lip and
grinned happily. "I haven't felt this
way in a long time. Let's go all out this
time! I was caught by surprise before,
but now I'm prepared!" Taro's aura flared
around him. "...And nobody calls me
Pantyhose!"
Kyoto edged back. He surveyed his
bruises carefully. (Crap! Now Taro's going
to go all out! And we both know that he
would win normally, but...now I have
magic!) He stared at Taro's aura more
carefully and cursed.
//Power Level has rose to 1550//
//Original Power Level was 1100//
(Who...? That sounded like my own
voice...how did I know that?) A voice
broke Kyoto's train of thought.
"HISUMODAN!!!" Taro cast his
hands foward, the flaring jade-green
beam of fire rushed at Kyoto.
Kyoto was taken by surprise by
Taro's new move. The beam flew through
him like a combustion of fire. The
chi made flames lingered on Kyoto's
body and clothes as if it was real
fire. It slowly faded leaving burns.
"Too bad 'cause here come another
one! Fireball!!!"
This time, Taro hit it away with
his hand.
"What?! Rrrr, Fireball! Fireball!
Fireball! And..."
Taro dodged the other three
Fireballs with ease. He ignored the
red smoke rising from Kyoto and dashed
toward him. He was five feet away when
he was about to hit him.
"FIREBALL!!!!!" Kyoto both hands
to throw a huge Fireball, 5x the size
of the others.
Taro was unprepared for this
as the Fireball rammed him back. Taro
swung his arms around the Fireball, not
completely grasping it, but enough to
get a hold. The red hot Fireball burned
at his skin; his aura offers little
protection at this close of a range.
He growled at the Fireball as he began
to push it back.
Kyoto realized what he was doing
and began some magic motions. "Hali hali
mahlu baylin, holy spirits become my
shield and protect me! Stamen!!!"
Kyoto put both hand together, making
an O shape, and cast a magical barrier
of white and blue.
"Rrr...yaaaaaaa!!!" Taro shot back
the huge Fireball with full force. The
Fireball encased itself around the shield
trying to force itself inside the barrier.
The magical barrier held. The counter
failed but not completely. This left Kyoto
sweating and needing a chance to catch his
breath. He wasn't given that chance.
Taro bashed Kyoto face and chest in
with flying punches. After, he kneed him
in the stomach and kicked him in the face.
This left Kyoto staggering on the ground.
"Ha! Weakling!"
Kyoto got up immediately and glared
at Taro. He ran up at Taro, hitting him with
a barrage of punch-kick combos. Or at least
he tried. Taro blocked nearly all of the
punches and kicks. "Don't forget that I
can beat Ranma in one-on-one fight! Not
to mention that this isn't even a
sample of my REAL power!"
Kyoto jumped back from his assualt.
"Sample this! Fireball!"
The ball of fire hit Taro, forcing
him to fall backwards. "That's it!" He took
out a canteen of cold water and poured it
on himself. He turned into the dreaded
Yeti-riding-a-bull-holding-an-eel-and-crane.
The tall monster towered over Kyoto.
Kyoto looked up at it. "Crap!"
He cowered back. "Ummm, well the test is
over! Those are all the spells I learned!
So you can stop now!"
It didn't. Taro, the monster, swung
its claw at Kyoto. Kyoto jumped back but
slipped on some ink that Taro just squirt
out of his tentacles.
Kyoto looked up into the raging
eyes of Taro. He shoved one hand in front
of him and, in one quick motion, created
a black and red ball of chi. "Ran Ryu Chi!!!"
He shot off the ball of chi at Taro.
It hit him, but when the smoke cleared
he was the same, only more furious. "I'm
dead."
---------------------------------------
"Man, when I get my hands on her..."
Ranma muttered.
Ryoga looked up and squinted at
the sun. "It's hot. How much longer?"
The question was for the owner
of the rented ship. "Long." The captain
said. They had a crew of only three men,
including the captain.
Makoto, Alielle, and Ura were
sleeping. They hoped that it would help
them ignore the heat. The ship came to
a sudden stop that woke the three sleeping
passengers. The ones awake looked at their
captain.
"Why'd we stop?" Ranma asked. He
suddenly aware that the two other crewmen
were behind Makoto and Alielle.
The captain lip curved, smiling.
"Because" -he pulled out a crossbow- "it's
time you give us more of our pay!"
Alielle gave a short "epp!" as she
was grapped up by the shirt and thrown
across the ship.
"Aielle!" He shrieked angrily.
One of the crewmen pulled up Makoto
by his wig, bearly on his head, and stuck
his crossbow against his back. "We'll
make him as an example!"
Ura had secretly woven himself
around Makoto. Therefore, nobody on board
even flinched, except for Mr. Fujisawa
who balled his fists. The others grinned
silently.
The crewman shot off his crossbow
but it bounced of Ura like rubber. Makoto
jumped up and hit the crewman as hard as
he could. The man flew up over the railing
and landed head first in the sand.
The others, caught by surprise,
faced the fury of Mr. Fujisawa.
"Ouch!" Makoto rubbed his hand.
"And you guys make it look so easy too."
He said, but only to himself.
Later, the two crewmen flew the
ship obediently.
"Mess with another one of my
students again and you'll face the wrath
my Fist of Justice another time!"
The crewmen nodded solemnly.
------------------------------------------
On the other side of El Hazard,
the same type of thing happened to Taro
and Kyoto. They were surrounded by a
band of bandits; their fancy ship having
broken down because Taro fell a sleep at
the wheel.
"This wouldn't be happening if
you hadn't fell asleep before," Kyoto
pointed out.
Taro frowned. "I know. That's
usually not like me."
"Well, since this is your fault,
you take care of them," Kyoto suggested
lazily, then glared at him. "Not to
mention since I can't even fight cause
you broke some of my bones!" He scowled,
pointing at his bandages.
"Fine, but you deserved it."
Taro winced, thinking back to the fight.
//FIREBALL!!!//
//Stamen!!!//
(How the HELL did he learn those
spells so quickly, anyways!?) Taro
thought.
"I don't know, I just did. Just
like the time I wrote those fighting
statistics. It just came to me..."
Kyoto replied to his unspoken question.
"What the hell? I didn't even
ask!"
One of the bandits cleared his
throat and spoke up them. "Hmph!
don't speak to us so casaully! We are
known as the Black Sand Bandits and..."
Taro ignored his speech. Instead,
he reached out a bottle of cold water-
"...and have fought many monsters..."
-and doused himself. They watched
him turn himself into a dreaded monster
caused my the Spring of Drowned Yeti-
riding-a-bull-holding-an-eel-and-crane.
*SMACK*
*POW*
*CRACK*
"Ahhhhh!!!" They screamed as they
ran away.
Taro reverted himself back to
normal. "That wasn't much fun. They ran
away before I could even warm up.
Kyoto nodded his head. "I think
we're almost there."
-----------------------------------------
"It failed. What should we do now?"
Nephrite asked.
Jinnai grinned. "Plan B."
-----------------------------------------
Mr. Fujisawa waved his fist in the
air. "What's this!? You tempt the Fist of
Justice again!?"
The passengers looked tiredly at
the crewman. He waved his hands in protest.
"N-n-no! It's that, well, this is as far as
we go!"
"Why's that?!" Mr. Fujisawa yelled
angrily.
"Because," he pointed at ten huge
columns a mile way from them. "Beyond
those columns is where the holy priestess'
rest. It's sacred! No man has ever been
there! If we go there, we'll be killed!"
Makoto pounders about what the
crewman said while Mr. Fujisawa is
harrasing him. Makoto turns to Alielle.
"You're the guide. Is this true?"
Alielle nodded.
Mr. Fujisawa sighed. "It's no
use. We'll have to walk the rest of the
way."
"What? We have to walk all of
that!?" Ranma blurted out, pointing to
the ten huge columns.
Makoto, Alielle, and Mr. Fujisawa
nodded. Ranma groaned.
Ryoga rolled his eyes. "Oh, stop
whining all ready, Ranma!"
Ranma crossed arms. "Hmph! You
should talk! You're used, with gettin'
lost at the time! You can't even tell
China from Japan!"
"Rrr, Ranma!!!" Ryoga swung his
fist at Ranma who parred it.
Mr. Fujisawa slapped himself in
the forehead and shook his head.
"Not again..." Makoto sighed.
"If only Sister Ranma could
watch what he says and pay more
attention to me."
"Yeah, 'Sister' Ranma!" Ryoga
laughed.
"Shut up, P-Chan!"
"Hey!"
-------------------------------------
"We're finally here," Taro stated.
The temple was more like a
cave than a temple, but it was certainly
forbidden. In the center of the ceiling
a cluster of skeletons were balled up
and, what looked like, they were all
trying to grab the staff below their
fingers. At the end of the dark cave,
there was a dead end. Water dripped
from the top of the cave. No signs of
intellegent life anywhere.
Taro looked up at the staff and
the skeletons. "Doesn't look like
vistors are welcome. Do you know what the
staffs for?"
Kyoto shook his head. "It only
had bits and pieces on Kalia, but I
think that's probably some kind of key.
Come on."
Kyoto jumped high up in the air
and snatched the staff from the
ceiling. He looked at it a bit, then
returned to Taro.
Kyoto handed him the staff.
"Here. You hold this and follow me."
They walked up to the dead end.
"Where's the door?" Kyoto asked
while searching the rock. Kyoto gave
up on searching and turned to Taro.
"Well? Find the door, yet?"
Taro nodded. He put the staff on
the on the ground. Opening his palm,
he put it to the rock. "Here's your
door." A surge of energy went through
his hand, exploding at the rock.
Kyoto raised his arm up to
cover his eyes from the dust. "Hey!
*cough**cough* What are you doing!?"
When the dust cleared Taro was
already walking through the hole he
made. He turned his head to look
toward Kyoto. "Are you coming?"
"You could of warned me, ya know!
You might of caused a cave in!" Kyoto
yelled angrily. The ceiling shook,
rocks fell from above.
"And you still could," Taro
pointed out. Taro continued walking.
"Let's go."
Kyoto stalked off after Taro.
They walked the narrow path Taro had
made until they came to a huge door
with fancy marking on it. It had a
red gem in the crease of the door
that looked similiar to the gem on the
staff, but bigger.
Taro walked up to it, thought,
then took out the staff and held it
to the red gem. Both gems glowed
lightly and illuminated the room
around them. The glow faded and the
door opened.
Kyoto made no comment as he and
Taro walked through the door. The
came into dim-lighted room with a
number of devices throughout the room.
There was clear path from the door to
a large cylinder shape containing a
shadow of a figure.
Stepping forward, Taro looked
around the room. "Surely, there's
has to be some kind of technology that
can be of some use to me." Taro motioned
forward for Kyoto to follow.
Kyoto looked nervously to the
ceiling. To him, they looked little bit
too much like laser cannons, with the
long barrel and all. "Uh, Taro, maybe
we should go back..."
"Why?"
"Well..." Kyoto looks again at
the barrels and noticed them moving
toward Taro and him. "Look out!"
Kyoto dove for Taro and pushed him
out of the way. "RUN!"
Taro got up off the ground angrily.
"Hey! Why did you do that!?" A lazer beam
suddenly zapped him forward by Kyoto, who was
running. "Oh."
They somehow managed to dodge the
dozens of beams that shot past them. They
ran to a large hole surrounding the
large cylinder.
"Jum-Gahhhhh!" Kyoto started before
another laser managed to send them
across to the platform holding the
cylinder.
"We made it," Kyoto sighed in relief.
He stepped up toward the cylinder and ran
his hand across it. "Looks like a human trapped
in some tree sap," Kyoto pointed out. He
studied the woman in the cylinder more
carefully. She had a white-grayish hair and
tanned skin. Her hand were at her side,
but they looked as if they twitched in her
frozen state. Her eyes were closed peacefully.
"You know, if I didn't know better, she'd
actually look like an innocent, naive kid."
A fist flew past Kyoto and smashed into the
transparent amber cylinder. It didn't even crack.
"Hey, watch it!"
