I'm sure the proposals floating around are all interesting - were I not involved in so many grey/black projects (do any of you remember Certain Cornet?) I'd offer to help write some of them.  As for tone, I'd lean towards the serious, but that's a stylistic preference of mine.
	And as long as I'm here I might as well toss out a few words concerning the unnecessary - yes, unnecessary! - use of the terms 'spam' and 'spamfic'.  From my understanding of Net culture, to call something 'spam' is to imply that is irrelevant to the area in which it has manifested.  Given that fact, I put it to you that not only is the term 'spamfic' an oxymoron, but the labeling of status reports, ideas, and the like as 'spam' is... well, ridiculous.
