A similar idea crossed my mind a few months ago.
I clipped it from an ICQ log, feel free to use as
you see fit...

I've thought of a R&A Fusion series
(Revolutionary Girl Akane) in which Akane takes
Utena's role & an amnesiac Ranma (possibly
with curse locked) takes the Anthea role. So
instead of being the "Rose Bride" she's the "Tao
Bride"...

I eventually decided that Ukyou would better fit the
role, but never did anything about it...
