This is really interesting. I can't remember if I've ever read an
alterverse retelling-of-the-first-few-episodes where the events
don't differ a _little_, they're wildly different.

That's one of my complaints about the typical altUniv fic: a lot of them
just retell the canon -- or if they change things, they make them
*less* interesting, not more.

your life, do *not* tell the person in the kitchen who you really are!"

Nodoka already? Well, might as well not waste any time assembling
your cast.

Nodoka's just too perfect for what I need to do in this fic; I had to
bring her in. But at this point the main cast is here, and you won't see
many other regulars added.

Maybe it's just me, but it seemed that the humor in the second half
of the story didn't match what you did in the first half. Of course,
the first half is one of the funniest pieces I've ever read.

Well, that's to be expected. This is situational humor, and you have to
take it where you can get it. So some parts of this will be funnier than
others. In fact, though this series is primarily comedy, there'll be
some fairly serious chapters once in a while, kinda like Ranma 1/2
itself.

Great read! Keep it coming!

Thanks! I appreciate the comments.
