Actually, I read a scary-as-hell Ranma fanfic entitled "Communication
Break-Down" wherein most of the cast had computers and internet access...it
was done pretty well, actually. If you suspend the canon-fact that R1/2 is
technically pre-'net, it could be done well..."Communication" proved it to
me, anyway... >>
The Internet has been around for about 30 years, maybe longer. Ranma
1/2 would have to be set in the '50s to be safely pre-'net.
