First of all.  You know that Amazon Laws are strict and must be followed to 
the tee.  If an Amazon is beat in combat by another woman, she must give 
that woman the "kiss of death" and follow her to the ends of th world to 
kill her.

Strict? Not at all.

Shampoo gave the kiss of death to Akane, and never followed through on it.
She also gave the kiss to Hinako in the first Hinako storyline, because
Hinako had beaten her in combat, but never followed through on it.
