Why can you never find any men with the Amazon's? If an Amazon women can
get married, why do you never see any men (husbands) in the Amazon tribe
scenes?
If you follow Xena, Hercules, or the book the "Land of the Warrior Women,"
you know that only women can stay in an Amazon village. They, once and a
while, attack nearby villages and take men. (This doesn't happen in the
Ranma series, because Amazons marry the men that defeat them) However, this
does explain what happens to the children quite well. At a certain age,
male children are given to the nearby male inhabited villages. That is a
good explaination for the children. However, As for the men, this fact
does
become a little wishy-washy and is a poor account for them.
I don't know if this is a correctin, or anything, but the few times I've
seen the Amazons were: When Ranma beat Shampoo, and when Cologne cursed
Shampoo. The "No Men rule applies easily to the first, if you consider that
maybe males weren't allowed to attend the tournament. In the second case,
Shampoo's father was present at Jusenkyo. Any other instances I don't know
about, and may dispute this.
My fic will pick up everything that I just said, so if you see something
that seems out of line please let me know so that I can explain it better
or
just change it all together.
Ok, now I just need to find the time to read it...
