Hi everybody. Just another idea that came to mind even though I should be
finishing up my essays.


New Year's Eve, a couple days after the Tendo Christmas party.

Compared to the previous day's party, this one was a lot smaller,
consisting of the Chinese group, the Kunos, Ryoga, the Tendos and the
Saotomes, excluding Nodoka.

"Okay. There's still quite some time before the new year comes so I've
thought of something that we could do." announced Nabiki Tendo. "Last
party, we only really used that rented karaoke machine that one time. I
want to get my money's worth. Everyone's going to have to sing karoke."

"What?" nearly everyone in the crowd said in unison.

Nabiki smiled slyly and said, "That is unless you want some certain piece
of information not to get out."

<She must know I've started eating healthier.> thought Genma. "I'll sing."

"I'll sing too." Soun frowned, <She must know about my teenage band, the
Wailing Babies.>

<What can this girl possibly know that I can't counter. I'll just play
along with it.> thought Cologne. "I'm ready for anything."

<Nabiki must know that I've been using less salt in my recipies because
I've added up the total of what Ranma and Genma eat and found they got
more than their required amount of salt each day.> thought Kasumi, a warm
smile hiding her ever so slightly less warm smile underneath. "I'd be glad
to sing little sister."

"I love to sing." Akane frowned slightly, <She must know I have a
full-time job at Hammer Inc. testing hammers on Ranma.>

Shampoo's heart jumped into her throat. <She must know I've secretly been
developing a working lightsabre in my free time.> "I ready to sing
anything."

<She must know I've been using Rurouni Kenshin as my blueprint on
developing my new attacks...> thought Kuno. <...No. Surely she is merely
bluffing. But, I can't take any chances.> "Be prepared to be amazed."

<My curse! She must know I know every showtune and can sing it in 16
languages! Nooo!> thought Ryoga. "I'm not sure I'm any good but I'll try."

<She must know I've been acting on the show, Bakuretsu Hunters. If Cologne
finds out, she'll kill me.> thought Mousse. "You promise never to tell
anyone right?"

<Nabiki must know I've been faking being good at martial arts all this
time.> thought Ranma. "Guys don't sing karaoke. But this time, I'll make
an exception."

<She must know I've spent the past 5 years practicing the perfect Naga,
the White Serpent laugh.> thought Kodachi. "I've trained my voice to sing
the sweetest melodies you have ever heard."

Nabiki smirked and said, "Everyone must sing one song and at least suggest
one song for another person to sing." She winked at Ranma and said, "For
example, I can suggest that Ranma would sing 'Pretty Woman' but I would be
greatly displeased if certain people start believing that she is the one
being sung to, causing an all out war in here. Understood?"

Various nods and sayings of approval were heard in the group.

"Okay. Write down the song you'll sing and suggestions for other people."

Okay, that's it so far. Now the help part. I need songs! Songs for
characters to sing and songs for characters to suggest. Why can't I just
think of the songs myself? Well, unless you only want to hear mostly old
songs, then speak up. 

Here's a freebie idea, Ranma getting back at Nabiki and Kuno by suggesting
to him to sing, "I Saw Her Standing There." With Nabiki being 17 and her
relationship with Kuno.

Ah well, just another crazy idea.
