completely ignores the End Of Evangelion continuity. I like screwing

A Few Pointers Regarding the FFML Archive Number
------------------------------------------------
The FFML Archive Number is a unique number that fanfic.com assigns
to each and every post that goes to the FFML. These posts in turn are
stored in the FTP archive under this unique number. It's a pretty
handy thing, because just in case a reader of you work has missed your
post, he or she can easily find your story in the FFML archive.
In addition, if your hard drive or floppy disk decides to die and
visit Kami-sama, you can still retrieve your drafts/finals/work from
the FFML Archive based on this number.
So, a few of you might be asking how the hell do I find out the
archive number of my post? It is quite simple, really, and the FFML
FAQ really does a good job of explaining this. I'll be explaining
with the assumption that you know how to use your mail client (whether
it be Mutt, Pine, or Eudora) or you know how to use your help files.
Step #1: Tell your mail client to print out the ENTIRE header for the
post that you receive, bounced back from the FFML. Pine users just
hit 'H' Netscape Mail users, go to View-Headers-All in the menu.
People who use other mail clients should look up topic "Headers" in
their help files. Mutt users already know what they are doing and
don't need any help on my part. (Sorry, FreeBSD doesn't quite have
Eudora or Outlook (bwahahahahah!), so you're on your own.)
Step #2: Scan down from the top, until you reach the line that starts
with "X-archive-position:" and has some large number greater than
10000 afterwards.
Step #3: The number you have found is the FFML Archive Number. Please
include it on your submitted synopsis.
