Author's note:

Hi! This is my first fanfic on Final Fantasy III. This story occurs a
year after the battle of Kefka. Now before you read this fanfic I must
warn you that my grammar is horrible =) I get past tense and present
tense all screwed up but hey, as long as you understand what I'm
saying, that's all it matters right? =) Also because of language
problem I won't be able to write Cyan's way of speaking properly. I
already have enough problems reading Shakespearean type language,
leave alone writing it =) Also I won't be able to cover all characters
extensively. I can tell you now the characters that has the most parts
in the story are Edgar, Sabin, Celes and Setzer. Not that I don't like
the others but it's hard for me to fit everyone in. I think I've
ramble on enough...let's get to the story! Enjoy!

********** Final Fantasy III - Repetition - Chapter 1 **********

The girl glanced behind her back. I lost them finally. After all those
running and hiding from those men I'm finally free. But where am I
right now? She turned to the seemingly endless field in front of her.
Where should I go? She dropped to her knees, feeling very weak. I've
been running for so long, I haven't even have a chance to eat
anything. She didn't realize how tired she is when she was trying to
lose the men that were following her. I need to sleep, but what if the
men catch up to her? But I'm so tired....

She collapsed to the ground.

~~~~~~~~~~
"I never knew a king has so much free time on his hands to just sit
around,"
Edgar Roni Figaro glanced at his twin brother. "Well, after the fall
of Kefka and the Empire there isn't really much to do,"
Sabin Rene Figaro sat down next to his brother on the throne. "I
thought you are going to work on the engine,"
"I've done enough for today. I need to rest, you know," Edgar leaned
back on his throne. A guard came in with an envelope.
"King Edgar, Prince Sabin, this is for you," he handed the envelope to
Sabin and left.
"Why can't they stop calling me Prince?" Sabin said, annoyed.
"Because it's appropriate,"
"Yeah, but it's annoying," he opened the envelope and read the card in
it.
"What is it?" Edgar asked.
"It's an invitation from Locke and Celes. They are getting married,"
"Really? When?"
"Next week. The Falcon will come pick us up. Locke wrote he invited
everyone to come. And he ask you to be his best man,"
Edgar took the card and read it. "It's about time they get married.
You know, if I was the one that saved Celes in the first place she
will probably be marrying me,"
Sabin laughed. "There you go again, thinking every woman will fall for
you,"
"Who wouldn't want a charming young king like me?"
Sabin chuckled. "You're not that young anymore. Seriously though,
aren't you ever going to settle for anyone? Figaro needs a heir, you
know."
Edgar laughed. "Settle for someone? That would be hard. Why don't you
get yourself married and you child can be the heir,"
"You are the king, I'm not,"
"You are supposed to be the king too you know. Why do you think
there's two thrones here?"
"Yeah, but you are the one that runs Figaro. I just do whatever. And
the reason I sit on this is that it's the only chair big enough to fit
me,"
"Yeah, it's probably the only chair in the castle that you won't
break,"
"And I don't look like a king. I probably just look like your
bodyguard when I sit here next to you,"
"Yeah, next to you I look like this weak little king," Despite the
fact that Edgar is over six feet tall, his brother being one inch
taller and his muscular body makes Edgar looks smaller next to him.
"And I'm supposed to be your older brother,"
A servant came in. "King Edgar, Prince Sabin, dinner is ready,"
Edgar stood up. "Well, my bodyguard brother, accompanying me to
dinner?"
Sabin chuckled. "Of course. Need to protect the king!"
~~~~~~~~~~

Setzer Gabbiani landed the Falcon near Kohlingen. When he entered the
town, Locke Cole was there to greet him.

"Hey, Setzer, long time no see!"

"Hey, Locke, how's you and Celes?"

"Great! We're really excited. Can you believe the whole town knows
we're getting married even though we haven't told much people?"

"Well, you two saved the world. People are going to notice you,"

"What about you? Still like to wander in the sky?"

"Of course. I still own the world's only airship."

"I heard that Edgar wants to build an airship too,"

"If he does I'll throw hydrogen bombs at it. No one competes with me
in the air," the two men laughed.

"Anyway, thanks for agreeing to pick everyone up for my wedding,"

"No problem. So when is the wedding?"

"Next week Tuesday,"

A sudden grim expression spread on Setzer's face. "What's wrong,
Setzer?" Locke asked.

"Um, nothing. Where's Celes?"

"She's trying out her wedding dress in the house. She said she won't
let me see it until our wedding so she kicked me out of the house,"

"So I finally get to see you wear a tuxedo?"

"Yeah, even though I hate fancy clothing,"

"Pretty hard to imagine a thief wearing a tux,"

"It's TREASURE HUNTER! I will-"

"-rip my lungs out if I keep calling you thief. Your line is getting
old, Locke."

"I'll rip your head out then. Anyway, why don't you stay with me and
Celes for this week?"

"I don't think it's a good idea to bother you two,"

"It's no bother at all. Please, Celes and I would love to have you
company,"

Setzer thought for a while. "Okay, if you insist."

~~~~~~~~~~
Celes Chere looks at her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing a
long white lace gown, with a big lace bow tied behind the dress. She
tied her hair up with a velvet green ribbon. She remembered how Locke
said the ribbon suited her at the opera, so she decided to wear a
ribbon for the wedding.
"I think this will be perfect for my wedding look," she said to
herself. She thought of the times when she was younger and was a
general. Her desire back then was to fulfil the Empire's goals. I
never even thought about a man, left alone getting married. She
smiled. Locke has changed her. Before she never had much emotions.
After meeting Locke she experienced love, a thing she never has a
chance to experience before.
Love is such a beautiful thing. I feel so lucky having Locke.
~~~~~~~~~~

Adria Enilnede wandered into the basement of the Figaro Castle. I've
never been here before, seeing that guy always stopped me from coming
down here, saying that it's too dangerous for a lady. The man has left
for lunch, and she decided to go down.

No one prevents me from doing what I wants to do. It's time to
explore. Wonder what's so dangerous about this place?

~~~~~~~~~~
Edgar was lying under the engine unfastening a screw when he heard
footsteps. He sat up and saw Adria.
"Adria? What are you doing here?"
"Oh, hi King Edgar, I didn't know you'll be here,"
Edgar grinned. "Were you looking for me?"
"Yeah, I'm so bored that I want the king to entertain me with his
pick-up lines," she said sarcastically. "What's with this big engine?"
"It's top secret," Edgar stood up and stares at Adria. He remembered a
week ago when she came to Figaro Castle....
**********
"I'm here to see the king,"
"Lady, you can't just come here and expect to see the king with no
reason." a guard said, preventing the girl from busting into the door.
"I have a reason. I want to work here in the castle,"
"The king doesn't give jobs to anyone, you know,"
Inside the castle Edgar can hear the argument outside. "What's with
all the noise?" he stepped into the castle's main entrance hallway and
opened the door. The girl quickly caught his eyes. She has long dark-
hair, her hazel eyes flashed with intelligence.
"What's going on here?"
"King Edgar! This lady demanded to see you."
Edgar turned to the girl. "My lady, what can I do for you?"
"I would like to work in the castle,"
"Why may I ask?"
"It doesn't matter why. I want a job in the castle, and I never leave
my goals unfulfilled," her voice was filled with confidence.
Edgar smiled, amazed with the girl's confidence. "Well, what would you
like to work as, my lady?"
"Anything for now, I'm sure you want to move me up to a higher rank in
the future,"
"Well, I think the only thing I have for you right now is a maid. In
the future maybe I'll consider letting you be my queen. You sure have
the beauty for it," he grinned.
So Edgar's reputation for being a flirtatious king is true, the girl
thought. "Fine, I'll be a maid for now,"
"So what is your name?"
"Adria. Adria Enilnede,"
**********
That was a week ago. For the whole week Edgar used pick-up lines on
her every time he saw her, but she just ignores him. Edgar could tell
she was a very talented and intelligent girl, and he couldn't
understand why she wanted to work here so badly. He find himself
attracted to this mysterious girl.
"King Edgar? You okay?"
Adria's voice snapped Edgar back to the present. "Oh! I'm fine.."
"This engine is for moving the castle underground, isn't it?"
"How'd you know?"
"I can tell by the way it is designed," she took a closer step towards
the engine. "It's a brilliant design. Did you design this?"
"Yes. You have knowledge on machinery?"
"Well, as a matter of fact, I do. I'm very interested in machinery."
Adria smiled as she sees the few grease spots on Edgar's clothes.
"I've never seen a handy-man king,"
Edgar laughed. "Well, I designed the engine, and I only feel safe if
I'm the one fixing it,"
"What are you doing to it?"
"Replacing a new part so it'll be more fuel-efficient,"
"What's so dangerous about this place? The engine operator won't let
me in here,"
"Well, just in case that we have an emergency and have to submerge the
castle someone won't be near the engine and get themselves caught or
something,"
"Who would get themselves caught in an engine?"
Just then the Chancellor came in. "King Edgar, there's some bad news.
Walter had a heart attack,"
"What? I'll see him right away," Edgar rushed up the stairs.
Adria followed him. "Who's Walter?"
"The engine operator," Edgar went into the male staff living quarters.
Walter is lying on a bed with the doctor next to him.
Edgar pulled the doctor aside. "How is he?"
"He's pretty weak right now. I gave him some medication, but I'm not
sure how long will he live."
Edgar frowned. "What's the maximum time he can live?"
"I don't know. Depends if he can recover,"
Edgar was silent for a moment. Walter has been serving the Figaro
family for a long period of time, and he was one of their most loyal
staff members. He turned to Walter. "How are you feeling?"
"Not very good. I guess my time is up," the old man replied.
"I'm sure you'll be fine,"
"Don't be too optimistic,"
"Just rest and don't worry about anything. I'll get someone to take
over your job. I'm sure you'll recover nicely. Sleep for a while, you
need to save your strength. I'll come back to check on you later,"
Edgar left the room.
Adria could see the grim expression on Edgar's face. "King Edgar, are
you alright?"
"Yeah. It's just that Walter has been here since I was born. He helped
me a lot. I wouldn't want to see him die,"
Adria stares at the king. Maybe other than his lecherous side he does
have a gentle side.
~~~~~~~~~~

Sabin was in his morning run. Everyday, he would run to South Figaro
and back to the castle to keep himself fit. He was running back to the
castle when he saw someone walking in a distance in front of him.

The figure was walking very slowly. When Sabin got closer he saw the
figure was a girl with long blonde hair. Suddenly the girl fell to the
ground and Sabin quickly ran to her. The girl was lying face down.
Sabin turned her around and gasped.

"Celes?! What are you doing here?"

The girl shook, then slowly opened her eyes.

"Celes! Are you alright?"

"My..." the girl found it difficult to speak.
"..my..name..is..not..Celes..I'm....Mar...ia"

"Maria?" Sabin tried to remember who she was. "The opera singer?!?"

"There she is!" a voice called. Sabin turned around and saw two men
approaching.

"Please..." Maria grabbed on to Sabin. "..help...me.."

Sabin laid her on the ground. He stood up and turned to the two men.
"What do you want?"

"Stand back, and let us take the girl," one of them said.

"What if I won't let you take her?"

"Then you're in trouble," the other one took out a dagger and charged
at Sabin. Sabin dodged to the side, then kicked the dagger out of the
man's hand.

"I think you're the one in trouble," Sabin said. He grabbed the man
and did a Suplex on him. The man hit the ground, unconscious.

The other stranger ran away, frightened. When he ran, he called to
Sabin. "Wait until I go tell General Hadrian, then you'll be toasted!"

"General Hadrian? Wonder who he is," Sabin turned back to Maria and
kneel down. "Maria, are you okay?"

"Thank...you..." with that she lost conscious.

~~~~~~~~~~
Adria was alone in the maid's living quarters when Edgar came in.
"King Edgar! What's wrong?"
"I need to talk to you,"
"About?" Adria sighed. He's probably trying to hit on me again, like
he does to every female alive in this world. He sometimes just get so
annoying.
Edgar sat down on one of the maid's bed. "What is your real reason for
being here?"
"My real reason? I want to be someone important."
"Such as?"
"I want to be a General,"
Edgar smiled. "Ladies usually don't get to be Generals you know,"
"I know, that's why I'm willing to work as a maid. In time I shall
prove myself,"
Edgar looks into her eyes. "I know you have some other reason for
being here."
"Why do you say that?"
"Your eyes. There's vengeance in them. You're seeking revenge against
someone are you?"
Adria smiled. "You're not as dumb as I thought,"
"Why do you think I'm dumb?"
"Because you act like a fool in front of ladies, and you never learn
how to give up,"
Edgar laughed. "I know most ladies are just trying to resist from
falling in love with me, so I never give up pleasing them,"
"Whatever. Know how to handle that sword?" Adria motioned to the sword
tucked under Edgar's belt.
"Why?"
Adria reached under her bed and took out a sword. "How about a
friendly match?"
"Whoa, where did you get that?"
"It's my father's. Here's the deal. If I win, you have to give me let
me be a General in your military. If I lose, I'll tell you everything
you want to know. Deal?"
"I'll never fight a lady,"
"Or are you too scared to fight me? I've been training since I was a
little girl. If you want to please a lady then fight with me,"
"Okay, okay, fine." Edgar could tell Adria really wanted the match.
"If I win you have to tell me everything plus accompany me to my
friend's wedding as my date,"
"Deal. Shall we?" Adria motioned Edgar to go outside. They went out of
the castle through the side exit. Adria stood opposite from Edgar and
pulled out her sword. "Ready?"
Edgar pulled out his Scimitar. "When you are,"
Edgar wanted to go easy on Adria at first, but her sword handling was
much better than he thought. A few quick and aggressive attacks from
Adria caused him to back up a few feet.
"Come on! Give me a real match here,"
Knowing Adria means business, Edgar retaliated. Adria blocked all his
attacks with her sword. "Not bad for a king," Adria said.
As they battled, Edgar became more impressed. She can handle that
sword pretty well for a lady. Probably as good as Celes. Adria blocked
all of Edgar's attacks with her sword, and Edgar had to be quick and
alert to block hers. Throughout the whole match a confident smile
never left Adria's face.
They were equally matched for a few minutes when a guard came and
yelled, "King Edgar!"
Even though the guard was not yelling at her, Adria was startled by
his voice and froze for a split second. That was enough time for
Edgar. He swung the Scimitar at the handle of Adria's sword, knocking
it from her hand. He then pointed the Scimitar right in front of
Adria's neck. Adria leaned back, her smile disappeared.
"You're good, but obviously you are inexperience in real combat. You
never let anything distract you," he lowered the Scimitar and turned
to the guard. "What's wrong?"
"Prince Sabin came back with Lady Celes! She's unconscious! The doctor
is looking at her right now,"
"Celes? Unconscious? I'll be right there," Edgar picked up Adria's
sword and handed it to her. He entered the castle, with Adria
following.
~~~~~~~~~~

Sabin carried Maria back to Figaro castle. He placed her in a guest
room and called the doctor. The doctor was examining Maria when Edgar
came in.

"What's wrong with Celes?"

"Celes? She's not Celes, she's Maria,"

"Oh really? The guard told me it was Celes,"

"He probably mistaken her for Celes. That's what I did at first too,"

Adria came into the room. She gasped when she saw Maria.

"Adria, what's wrong?" Edgar asked.

"Um, nothing," Adria replied.

"What happened to her?" Edgar asked Sabin.

"I don't know. I found her near South Figaro. Some people were
pursuing her,"

The doctor turned to Sabin and Edgar. "I think she's just too tired.
Let her rest a while, then when she wakes up give her some water and
food."

"Okay. Thank you, doctor." Sabin went out with the doctor.

Adria looks at Maria. What is Maria doing here? She knows who I really
am. I must tell her not to tell Edgar or Sabin anything, or else
she'll ruin my plan.

"Adria?" Edgar called.

Adria realized Edgar was still in the room. "Um, yes?"

"About the match...."

"I'll keep up my part of the deal. Next time I won't be so easily
distracted,"

Edgar smiled. "Now my friends won't insult me for not having a date.
Seriously though, I would hate to see your skill being wasted. I'll
consider giving you a position in the military. Not General yet, but
maybe a commander. I think you have the potential."

Adria smiled back at him "I'm sure you won't regret your choice," it's
not General, but it's a start. Now if Maria will keep her mouth
shut...

~~~~~~~~~~
When Edgar and Sabin was in the dining room eating lunch, Adria
sneaked into Maria's room. She closed the door and went over to the
unconscious Maria. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a
bottle. Inside contains a herb, whoch smell can be use to wake up an
unconscious person. She opened the bottle and placed it near Maria's
nose. After a few seconds Maria stirred and slowly opened her eyes.
"Here, drink this," Adria placed a glass of water on Maria's lip. She
drank it down immediately. Feeling more conscious, she saw Adria and
gasped. "Adria?"
"What are you doing here? My brother let you go?"
"No...they were busy searching for you and I took the chance to
escape. What are you doing here?"
"Listen, whatever you do don't tell anyone about who I am, nor my
brother, nor the Emperor. Understand?"
"Why? Edgar and Sabin are Returners. We should let them know,"
"No. Not until I gain enough military control here,"
"But why? The Empire has revived! We have to tell them!"
"Look, you don't understand. I still have a score to settle with my
brother. I have to pay him back for how he treated me all these years.
If you tell the Returners right now they'll go fight him without me,
and how am I supposed to prove myself to him? Wait until I gain
military control in Figaro. Then we'll tell Edgar and Sabin, and that
time I'll have a chance to take part in the war. I won't rest until
the troops under my command defeats my brother's troops!"
"But this will give time for the Imperial troops to build up!"
"Don't worry. They won't do anything until the troops are strong
enough to conquer the whole world. It'll give me enough time,"
"Adria, I hope you know what you're doing,"
~~~~~~~~~~

Sabin came into Maria's room to check on her after lunch. He opened
the door and saw Maria awake with Adria next to her.

"Adria, what are you doing here?"

"Oh! Um..I heard a sound when I passed by, and I saw she was awake so
I gave her some water,"

"Maria, are you okay?"

"Well, sort of. Still feeling very weak,"

"I assume you haven't eat for a while. Your face looks thin. Adria,
why don't you get something for her?"

"Sure," Adria headed for the door. Before she left she gave Maria a
look.

Maria sighed. I guess I'll have to lie for the time being.

"Maria, who were those men that were following you?"

"Oh..um..I don't exactly know who they are," Maria knew she's not a
good liar. I know exactly who they are, they're Imperial troops
without uniforms, following Hadrian's orders.

"I heard from Setzer a month ago that you mysteriously disappeared. I
guess you were kidnapped, right?"

"Yeah..."

"By who? A man named General Hadrian?"

Maria was shocked. Adria, at that moment, came in the room with a tray
of sandwiches. Hearing the name Hadrian she was also shocked.
"How..how'd you know?" Maria asked.

"The man that ran away said something about telling General Hadrian. I
guess you didn't hear him. Who is he?"

"Um..he's some leader of, um, some terrorists group. He's kind of
obsessed with war, so he makes everyone call him a general,"

"What does he want from you?"

"He wanted me to be his wife..." Maria shuddered as she thought about
Hadrian, how he locked her up in his house with guards watching her,
how he forced her to sing to entertain him. "He used to go to the
opera house all the time. Then one day after the show he just came to
my dressing room and kidnapped me..." Replaying the scene in her mind,
Maria couldn't help sobbing. She remembered Hadrian coming into the
room, knocking her out, then when she woke up she was in his house,
her prison.

Seeing this, Sabin knew he should leave Maria alone. "Why don't you
eat first then rest a little longer? I'm sure you'll need it. I'll
talk to you later," he left the room.

Adria placed the tray on the side table and held Maria to comfort her.
"It's okay, my brother won't find you here. You'll be safe,"

"I never want to see him again,"

"You won't. And thanks for lying,"

~~~~~~~~~~
"So how's Maria?" Edgar asked Sabin. They were in the throne room.
"She's okay. Although there seem to be something strange,"
"What?"
"She said she was abducted by a man named General Hadrian who wants
him to be his wife, and he's the leader of some terrorist group,"
"What kind of a leader will call themselves General?"
"That's what I was thinking. Also, the tone of her voice sounds like
she was lying. And Adria seems to know something that we don't. Did
you see her expression when she saw Maria?"
"Yeah, I was wondering why she was so surprised,"
"And I found her with Maria when she woke up. There's definitely
something going on. We need to keep an eye on the two,"
Edgar nodded in agreement.
~~~~~~~~~~

"What do you mean you let her get away?" Hadrian yelled at the soldier
that was following Maria.

"We found her near South Figaro, then someone came and stopped us from
capturing her!"

"Who?" Hadrian picked the soldier up by his clothes.

"Some guy with blonde hair. He literally killed Charles with one move
and I had no choice but to run!"

Suddenly, a dark figure sitting behind Hadrian spoke. "Is he tall with
short hair and blue eyes?"

"Um...yes.."

"Hadrian, I think we're dealing with Sabin Figaro here," the dark
figure said.

"Sabin?"

"The brother of King Edgar of Figaro. He's one of the Returners. Your
soldier stands no chance against him,"

"Maria is in the hands of a Returner? That's interesting." Hadrian
released the soldier. The soldier was about to leave when Hadrian
said, "I told you to watch Maria carefully. How did you let her
escape?"

"I didn't see her slip out the window! And I didn't know she'll steal
a boat!"

"I told you to guard the boats! That was how Adria escape in the first
place! Now you let Maria steal a boat and escape!"

"But....but.."

"You're no use to me," Hadrian draws his sword.

"No!" the soldier tried to run, but Hadrian quickly stabbed him. The
soldier moaned, then collapsed to the ground.

"Hadrian, if Maria is with Sabin, then the Returners probably knows
about us by now. Looks like we can't wait any longer. We'll have to
eliminate them now," the dark figure said.

"You want me to track them down one by one?"

"No, there's an easier way. There's word from Kohlingen that Locke
Cole and Celes Chere are getting married next week. I'm sure all the
Returners will be there. We can eliminate them all together,"

"That would be easy. Consider it done, Emperor Gestahl,"

~~~~~~~~~~
"Can't believe today is my wedding day!" Locke said.
"You must be pretty excited. This will be the biggest day of your
life," Setzer said. "I better get going to pick up people. I do have 5
different places to go,"
"You'll have time. The wedding is in the afternoon and it's only dawn
right now,"
"Well, it's better to be early than late. See you later," Setzer
climbed aboard the Falcon and left Kohlingen.
~~~~~~~~~~

Setzer first went to Thamasa to pick up Strago Magus and Relm Arrowny
with Interceptor. Then he picked up Terra Branford in Mobliz, Cyan
Garamonde and Gau in Doma, then Mog, GoGo, Umaro in Narshe. Feeling
sick, GoGo didn't want to come at first, but eventually agreed after
Mog continuously ask him to go. Then they went to Figaro Castle. Adria
joined Edgar, and Sabin told Maria to come along as well. Then they
headed to Kohlingen.

~~~~~~~~~~
Celes nervously looks at her reflection. "Well, this is it!"
"Calm down, Celes!" Terra laughed. Celes asked Terra to be her
bridesmaid.
"It's time," Strago comes in. "I still don't understand why I have to
be the one bringing the bride in."
"Because you're that oldest!" Relm said.
"I'm not old! I'm still young as a kid!"
"Um, if you two keep arguing Locke will be in there waiting forever,"
Terra said.
"Okay! Let's go!" Relm grabbed the basket of flowers on the table.
"The flower girl gets to go in first!" she skipped out the door.
Celes laughed. Then following Terra and Strago, she head towards the
main entrance of the church.
The church was filled with music as Relm steps in. She threw flowers
as she skipped along the isle. "Hey, this is fun! I never get to throw
things around," she said to herself.
A lot of people from Kohlingen were there to witness the marriage of
their world heroes. Locke was standing in front of the priest with
Edgar next to him. Terra then walked in, with Celes and Strago behind
her.
Celes smiled at Locke when she saw him. He looked so handsome in a
tuxedo. I should get him to wear it everyday.
Locke took Celes' hand and whispered in her ear. "You look beautiful,"
Celes giggled a little.
"Hey, Celes, are you sure you want to marry Locke? You do have a
handsome young king right here," Edgar said and gave Celes a smile.
Locke elbowed him in the stomach.
~~~~~~~~~~

"Do you, Celes Chere, take Locke Cole as your husband?"

"I do," Celes replied. The only person in the world I want to marry
would be Locke.

"Do you, Locke Cole, take Celes Chere as your wife?"

"I do,"

"Now I pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride,"

Everyone cheered as Locke kissed his bride.

"Let's now go to Locke's house and PARTY!" Edgar exclaimed as they
left the church.

"So what are we going to do in Kohlingen?"

"We're going to kill the Returners,"

"Returners? Are you sure we have enough people to do the job?"

"The General say we should wait until they're asleep at the inn,
capture Maria, then set fire to the inn,"

"That'll be easy. Tonight the Returners will be at our mercy,"
